Hi to fellow fitness enthusiasts and also beginners who want to get involve into fitness training.

I want to provide a personal coaching/training service. As many people are very shy to approach to a commercial gym and get a very expensive trainer. I am specialized in fat loss and muscle gaining training. I will create a suitable training plan base on your need and also give advise on your daily diet.

We will meet at your desired location such as your house's gymnasium, or the gym you use to train at. Whichever is more convenient to you.

The first session will be free[SIZE=14]. I don't want any money if you are not satisfied with my style of training. And if it is ok, we will work out the price.
My area of service is within PJ area, and anywhere around Klang Valley. We can discuss this. No extra charges for that too.

Moderators, I hope this is the correct place to post this. Thank you.

Hi to fellow fitness enthusiasts and also beginners who want to get involve into fitness training.

My name is Kevin Chow. And I would like to use this platform to advertise what I am providing.

The first session will be free[SIZE=14]. I don't want any money if you are not satisfied with my style of training. And if it is ok, we will work out the price. Usually I only charge RM35[SIZE=14] per session. Each session will be 1.5 to 2 hours ( I am not very specific with the time. Depends on your training and schedule).

My area of service is within PJ area, and anywhere around Klang Valley. We can discuss this. No extra charges for that too.

Moderators, I hope this is the correct place to post this. Thank you.

Before that, why not show some of your qualification or your knowledge in fitness training.

If you are what you claimed, i might ask for some session to correct my posture (Sometimes need another eye to check) biggrin.gif

Yea man, everyone who achieve great body/strength in the gym can be a trainer. But a trainer with qualification and some dip in food/human anatomy is soooo hard to find in Malaysia.

What is a trainer?

People think trainer is everything, degree in sport science, phd in psychology, master in food nutrition, with a double degree in gastronomy and physiology.

And client think paying rm20 per session is very expensive.

unless ur some celebrity trainer etc, i dont see ppl paying extra...extra as in reaching what say a psychiatrist can charge like a min of rm100 / 30mins.
these are the kinds of things where ppl think they can do, so they dont want to pay extra...just like some who everyday lowball photographers etc.
yet ask the ppl to do it, and they fail miserably tongue.gif

btw, to TS...wrong section.

Obviously you have not survey the market, I can attest that FF charges RM80 to RM120 per personal training session (depending on how many sessions you order). Each session is about 45 minutes so it's close to your 'psychiatrist' rate.

I doubt these guys got any diploma or degree in physiotherapy besides the basic PT course offered by FF to all their new PT staff.

How's business? Some of the personal trainers require 3 mths advance booking and I know some 'lembut men' who book 12 mths PT courses for the past 3 yrs.

omg, even University professors probably earn RM80-100 per hour of teaching, and these come after years of service.
just curious, are FF trainers professionally trained trainers?

Nope that the standard rate for Ff. I m sure other fitness Centre oso charge the same rate as I see the PTs jumping to other franchises.

As for real qualifications, I don't see them listing it on their biodata so I assume only the basic course offered by the fitness center. Of course some of them won some Miss Sari pagent / Miss Chinatown or some amateur bodybuilding competition but no real certification.

I don't mean to put down the PTs, in fact I find some of them to be very good ppl. I m just letting you know that there are ppl paying good money for PTs (not your RM30 per pop) if you know where and how to market yourself. Most of the time it is not you average bodybuilding youth or bikini model, it is the overweight middle aged uncle or aunty.

if thats the case, then my assumption is that they are not really paying for the PT expertise...but more for privacy perhaps due to embarassment etc...no need to have others ego looking down on them in the gym etc tongue.gif

in the training course actually got stated PT should be good at sales especially in commercial gym. so don't blame them that they r trying to close your sales.

Yeah it's true bro. I am no full time trainer. I always train in the evening after my studies. I do not have any certifications to be clear right here just pure experience.
I have heard many broscience that claims to give extreme fast result but to me i always do my research before saying any statements to my clients. To me only hard work brings results.

Bro i am happy to keep an eye on your posture sorry to say that I have no papers to show off right here. We train with boundaries and if we understand our own body well enough, injuries can be always be avoided. I always tell people not to rush with their progress.

In the world of sports, no

Hard work will bring you no where, if hard work works, no body need a specialist coach.

Smart work brings results.

Curling biceps 100 reps a day, everyday ( hard work) is not gonna give you better result than curling 50 reps, 2 times a week.

With hard work, you will reach plateau, with smart work and smart programing ( linear, step, wave, i bet ya dont know these) , you will breaks plateau.

Train smart, not train hard.
