unless ur some celebrity trainer etc, i dont see ppl paying extra...extra as in reaching what say a psychiatrist can charge like a min of rm100 / 30mins.
these are the kinds of things where ppl think they can do, so they dont want to pay extra...just like some who everyday lowball photographers etc.
yet ask the ppl to do it, and they fail miserably tongue.gif
btw, to TS...wrong section.
the only real place to post is here - https://forum.lowyat.net/ServicesNoticeboard

Obviously you have not survey the market, I can attest that FF charges RM80 to RM120 per personal training session (depending on how many sessions you order). Each session is about 45 minutes so it's close to your 'psychiatrist' rate.

I doubt these guys got any diploma or degree in physiotherapy besides the basic PT course offered by FF to all their new PT staff.

How's business? Some of the personal trainers require 3 mths advance booking and I know some 'lembut men' who book 12 mths PT courses for the past 3 yrs.

Nope that the standard rate for Ff. I m sure other fitness Centre oso charge the same rate as I see the PTs jumping to other franchises.

As for real qualifications, I don't see them listing it on their biodata so I assume only the basic course offered by the fitness center. Of course some of them won some Miss Sari pagent / Miss Chinatown or some amateur bodybuilding competition but no real certification.

I don't mean to put down the PTs, in fact I find some of them to be very good ppl. I m just letting you know that there are ppl paying good money for PTs (not your RM30 per pop) if you know where and how to market yourself. Most of the time it is not you average bodybuilding youth or bikini model, it is the overweight middle aged uncle or aunty.
