Turbo = more maintenance in future. But the torque at low rpm must be nice to drive.

Engine remote start works from max distance of 10m. Wonder how useful this is. hmm.gif

i think the remote start can only use for morning warm up the car, or when the weather is really hot, can start up the car before leaving? Or just simply to impress the others?
*
In hot weather I suppose remote start can cool down the car first (for a couple of secs) before you reach the car from 10m away. smile.gif

There is no need to warm up a modern car. Just start, buckle up and drive.

if you live in terrace house, you can start the car inside your house, let engine warm up and cool the cabin while you brush teeth, take shower and change cloth

of course at the expenses of fuel consumption la whistling.gif
2.5L Skyactiv-D turbocharged? brows.gif
if you park in open air car park under a sunny day for half a day, 10 meter is just a few steps away which doesn't make any difference in cooling down the cabin though since the aircon it not powerful enough to cool down an oven cabin

can use to impress others also la, passerby will think this car so canggih can start by itself and girls will go "woah.....so lovely wub.gif "

our m3 also can attract attention of others with the sporty front design, but mostly attention guys lar tongue.gif
*
Terrace house your car will be parked in the car porch not under direct sun so no need to cool down first.

Want to impress girls need a Merc or BMW la...not M3 or Civic.

The M3 NVH isn't as bad as it is made out to be. It may be a little higher than average but the story has been amplified as it is retold umpteen times until the NVH is described as truly atrocious. It's the same story with the so-called limited back space which although isn't as good as a Civic is still undeserving of being called awful or terrible. Adults who sit in the backseat of my M3 haven't complained.

Bermaz may have overspecified the HS wih 18" rims and thin performance tyres which lead to more road noise but it's the price you pay for aesthetics and better handling. I drive the GL with 16" rims and I find the NVH to be pretty decent; good enough for me to enjoy music. I've also driven the HS a few times specifically to test the NVH and I don't know what the hoo-ha is all about. It's not as if you are driving an Avanza or Axia but from the comments you would think the HS is worse!

I've been considering to revert to my previous v55 as it's more stable it seems. Previously media player, castscreen etc has been working at least 70% of the time, right now it's about 20% only. However as I understand our CMU memory is very ridiculously limited, so installing too many things would not be friendly.

As for the android auto, I agree. While it does cool things that castcsreen does not do IE, show you your whatsapp chats etc, I still prefer Waze as my preferred navi. Coupled with the disabled mazda software itself and the iffy reverse camera integration, it almost feels like driving with an eye patch. I feel crippled somehow.

today went to the new sc in equine park to get them check on the lower arm bush, after a round of test drive they agreed to change it for me without any issues, gonna change it next friday rclxm9.gif

the technician spray some water to the lower arm and managed to reproduce the same sound laugh.gif

took my car to go hiking today, went up to 550m from sea level, that's the altitude displayed at the speedometer app, not sure correct or not

Beautiful photo with a moody sky. It matches the colour of your Mz3 and the car looks like a sleek, mean machine coiled with energy and about to pounce forward.

So it means all Mazda SC dun give back remaining engine oil?
How about the old parts that have been replaced?
Just asking first, coz i think good to know when i do my 1k service later.
*
Since the service is free I don't think they are obliged to give back the remaining engine oil. They can combine the remaining engine oil to use for other cars.

Replacement of parts is a different story. If you are being charged for the part they should return you the old part to prove it has been replaced.

At my place, my car only change part in front of me, just between 1 mirror so I can observed at there if really wanted to. 1 service center allows me to get beside my car when service ( but I guess for safety purposed, normally that's a NO for it. )

And actually very hard to check whether the engine oil is being replaced or not, except you are well experience with the engine oil, and by touching it, you can feel the thickness of the oil.

So I think if you can see your car when they service, is good enough.
*
New engine oil is golden brown colour. Old oil is blackish (they don't call it black oil for nothing). Should be easy to check by pulling up the dipstick.

Ya I found ezy while searching online. Seems quite straight forward, did you try it? or anyone else has experience with it?
*
I've tried it and the colour matching is very good. Getting the 4 bottle set isn't necessary, all you need is the basecoat.
