Utd is in dire straits if the board don't already know. Yes, mathematically still possible to qualify for UCL via the league standing but realistically? We still have to play Arsenal, Man City, Tottenham & Leicester & that's assuming we can win games against the rest. Fair play if we can beat the current top 4 but how confident are we, honestly?

However, if we change manager now, we can at least hope for a bounce (usually it does with a change of manager) & carry us to the end of the season.

Well, we still have to claw back the 6 points plus score more. Game vs Arsenal is even more crucial now.

For me, if he's appointed, it'll be a knee jerk reaction to City's Pep appointment. They have to react especially since their 2 biggest enemies (the other being poo) have appointed 2 of the brightest young manager around. United is resigned to match them even if it's for just max 3 seasons (shelf life of JM). Somewhat justified if you think about it. What with Pep's same shelf life & Klopp is expected to implode coz poo will a,ways be poo
