And best of all, we don't even have actual centre backs!

QUOTE(gr8fr8 @ Feb 29 2016, 10:25 AM) FA scheduling is really 'killing' United in the past couple of weeks. Next game is Wednesday. Fortunately, at home, against Watford. Cukur more games to watch. Unlike last season, a game a week only Will be interesting if Watford will play defensive game, and if they do, we shall see how this 'horny' United will play against such team. We all know what happened before earlier in the season. Great game by Rashford. Not saying he is the next [insert former player here], but if he continues his form, i rather LvG gives chance to youth rather than spend gazillions. Memphis Rashford Martial? I like Memphis much better now. Kept Bellerin quiet. One aspect of his game that was severely lacking before. Hope he continues his good work. |

QUOTE(deity01 @ Feb 29 2016, 11:25 AM) Why not both? Drawing LIVERPOOL has renewed interest in UEL. Wouldn't it be satisfying to know that by knocking LIVERPOOL out, they are guaranteed to miss out on at least the UCL again next season? Anyway, not much motivation is needed whenever we meet LIVERPOOL. |

QUOTE(kiasunkiasi @ Mar 1 2016, 12:56 AM) Paolo Rossi came out of no where and won the 1982 World Cup for Italy almost singlehandedly Paolo Rossi didn't came out of nowhere. He wasn't a rookie like Rashford. Rossi had this dark clouds of songlap hanging over his head before that World Cup performance.he is way ahead in comparison with Suker and others |

Lucky lucky win. Watford could've scored at least 3. We rode our luck & we'll take it. Bonuses were all those teams above us didn't win. But West Ham is pesky. Keeps cucuk our back

My deduction
Top 4 is in sight but it's not yet on our own hands. Vital game against West Brom this weekend. While we can count on Arsenal stumbling again at White Hart Lane, City have an easy game vs hopeless Villa. If Arsenal falter again & we win, the gap will only be 1 point. So in theory, we'll be closer to Arsenal than City. Like someone said previously, we have 10 finals to play not withstanding those cup ties. As for the rest, if Spurs win against Arsenal, their chances of lifting their first BPL title looks bright. City should be there & there about too. They always do well at the closing stages but the difference this time is they have the added distraction of UCL which they didn't have previously due to being knocked out in the last 16. That means 3 teams will be fighting for the last UCL spot. As for the relegation battle, I can safely assume Villa is down. Remaining 2 spots will be between Sunderland, Norwich & Newcastle. My money will be on Norwich & Newcastle joining Villa down to the Championship. |

Unfortunate series of events. Perhaps the draw Arsenal had was the only good news cause it mean they are still catchable. You guys weren't expecting Villa to get something right? We should aim for 3rd place no matter how daft that sounds. Why? Well, if, and that's a big if, either City or Chelsea wins the UCL, it would mean 4th place is not enough for UCL.
A must win against West Brom. |

QUOTE(HiperPanda @ Mar 6 2016, 06:20 PM) i wonder y is it 4th place will be excluded from UCL if City (if u mean they finish 5th/lower but UCL champ) or Chelsea win it? The year Chelsea won UCL, Spurs finished fourth while Chelsea 7th in the league. Spurs couldn't get into UCL the following season. Back then, only a maximum of 4 teams from a country can qualify. I dunno if it has changed but England's co-efficient rating in UEFA is not good although sufficient to keep 4 teams in UCL. Take a look at Spain this season, as they, like England, also have 4 places from domestic table to UCL. Last season, 1st-3rd; Barca, RM & AM. They str8 to group stage. 4th, Valencia, also thru to UCL qualifying stage. Then they have Sevilla who won UEL, also went str8 to UCL group stage w/o d need to play qualifying stage. So they have 5 teams this season in UCL. If this season, top 4 remain like now (doesnt matter it City or Arsenal=4th), 1st-3rd str8 to group stage, 4th to qualifying stage. If M.Utd/Liv finish 5 or lower but win UEL, will go str8 to group stage. So it could hv been like Spain, having 5 teams in next season UCL. Nowadays UEL give better reward to UEL champ, better than finishing 4th in premier league, str8 to group stage. But i'm not so sure if England could have 6 teams in UCL or not, if top 4 remain like now, M.Utd or Liv who finish 5th or lower, win UEL then Chelsea, outside of top 4, win UCL too. 1st-3rd confirmed go thru, UCL champ also go thru. Who will be the victim? 4th place or UEL champ? Now, we could have a unique situation, a bit far fetched, but still possible. City & Chelsea could finish outside the top 4 but one of them wins the UCL. Assuming England still only has 4 UCL spots, if United finishes 4th they won't qualify. Unless they win UEL. Anyone has any info? |

QUOTE(alien2003 @ Mar 6 2016, 07:42 PM) OK, thanks. But it does mean in the event, United finishes 4th, Chelsea wins UCL & heaven forbids, Liverpool wins UEL, we're out. |
