Oops just saw your later message, so did SP&K confirm first batch for you? I called them they also avoided the question . They keep saying date not confirmed.

Apparently there's no confirm date for ps4 pro release in Malaysia, nov 10 was the "official date" but because of sirim issue, similar to last 2 cases last month, PSVR and PS4 Slim was delayed, that's why they don't dare to promise.

Now left 2, just robbed one unit! also wanted to get from HeavyArm and impulse, impulse apparently just sold out like few hours ago... HeavyArm backordered to next year

Oo maybe it was 2 days ago then, I checked their website still got, suddenly today no more... sad. hopefully SP&K can get it early, they are also authorized dealer.

Sadly only the few big famous shops confident enough to announce date, I mean it's fine if Sony delay whole country, I'm just worried that those shop keep taking order, ended up cannot fulfill, then push back without any notice.

Considering to wait, since it's RM200 cheaper, or I should just find other seller that can promise November, it seems like they are the only one delay.

Obviously they didn't, it wasn't as big of a news as psvr but the ps4 slim was delayed too, and that happens after psvr. Right now we still don't have a real release date of ps4 pro for malaysia. Even sony malaysia is not advertising it, their online store and sony center doesn't seem to be taking order.

You can't really delay the item if the item didn't even have a release date in the first place.

Whole wide world getting PS4 Pro next week, and Malaysia gets it too, the twist is the custom/SIRIM gets it.

Which shop was it? As far as I know, most of the shops listed as authorized dealer have no idea on the release dates.
A direct quote from M4G : "November 10th is only for US and Japan, No official news for SE Asia yet, we just estimate in mid to end November."

Plus to take into account that Malaysia SIRIM delays, December is reasonable I guess.

The real concern is not whether how many units they will receive, is the actual release date + Malaysia SIRIM.
Apparently Sony Malaysia didn't even provide an actual date, at least for yesterday.

Honestly if even heavyarm is not getting sufficient stock, don't expect other shops to get more than 10 units. At least heavyarm is providing a solid number and knows what batch you are in, other shop just blindly accept orders, there's 1 small shop say they are getting 200 units. Either way, expect December to be the earliest we will get our units. Maybe lucky ones will get it mid November.

Supposedly I've confirmed with the shop multiple times that we will be first batch, he told me this time Sony is assigning much more units, but looking at what is happening now, I think December is the "first batch" and a lot units will be here on December. I would honestly be happy to receive my stock in December but I have a feeling they will push us to at least 2017.

HeavyArm slots are being assigned all the way to 2017. Either there's like 50 units in Malaysia, or there's seriously a lot of people getting the Pro.

Nov 7 and absolutely 0 updates from Playstation Asia/Sony Malaysia, yea prepare for the worst, because the worst will be the best for now.

I know how you feel, I was on the brink of selling my PS4, someone wanted to COD with me the next day on a good price, but then after going through the PSVR delay phase, I learned my lesson not to risk it (Just bought Robinson and Eagle Flight for my PSVR this week).
Worst case being 2017, I still have to play my FFXV coming this month.

Honestly I think you should really stick with it, did they told you, you will be 2nd batch and the date? If it's no later than December, stick with it.

atleast heavyarm support is great, they update you on these stuff. SP&K and other shops is laughably terrible. Ask them a few question, they got frustrated and told me to not buy from them.

I'm upgrading to the Pro without owning a 4k hdr tv. Primarily using a 1080p 27'' monitor.
There's already several confirmation and comparison out there, basically a more stable framerate and shinier stuff. As far as I know, most of the game will support 1080p enhanced mode anyway. Initially they were very quiet about this but games like Horizon, ratchet and clank will have almost no jaggies at all after downsampling to 1080p. It's not a huge price to pay, plus I don't have any plan on getting a 4k hdr tv anytime soon.

Although, the main reason for me is more on PSVR.
