They will reply me, huh? update what?
I reply to them PS4 Pro.
They reply "What about it?"

God damn I want to kill myself everytime i talk to them.

I mean, why is restocking the most sold console in the world so hard in Malaysia? Other places can literally go to any shop and pick it up.
Why is this still a problem after so many product launches... So I guess I have to pay deposit for the Switch now to secure day 1?
I still can't believe I preordered something with full payment and others got it by walking into a shop.


Anyway if anybody spotted any Pro available in shops around Penang please let me know, I really don't want to deal with SP&K, they are horrible...

You got the VR? For me at least, I upgrade to Pro mainly because of horizon zero dawn better graphics, FFXV getting unlocked framerate patch targeting 60fps and VR stuff. Will be sticking with my 1080p for awhile.

Try changing your RGB setting to full instead of automatic/limited.

How was the refund process with gemfive? did you receive back the money yet?
I'm seriously on the fence to cancel it and give up getting one.

Neh don't worry about it, they estimate restocking 100 right? strike that down to 5 units coming in. Previously was 200 end up being 10 what.

I would've been so freaking angry if I didn't have my old PS4. Almost sold it because I already found a buyer and was expecting worst case scenario being end of November, still able to play FFXV. Looks like my worst case wasn't the worst because now I'm more likely to get mine in 2017. Previously similar case to PSVR launch, it was a week delay but they compensated RM100 so as angry as I was, still they tried to make it up to us. This time because they didn't give a date, they pretty much ignores the launch of the Pro in Malaysia. I mean look at Sony Malaysia or Playstation Asia, they didn't mention shit about PS4 pro after the initial launch party in HK. It's like, they advertise it as "AVAILABLE NOW", but you can't find it anywhere.

Well do you find the standard PS4 graphics to be unbearable? If not just stick with your PS4. Honestly for me I thought FFXV looks extremely great on the OG PS4, you can try it yourself with the latest judgement disc demo. It runs and plays damn well. For me, I don't have any problems with the current ps4 graphics, but for long term plan especially for me (VR), i bought it anyway. MYR so unstable, since i got the RM1.6k price tag, i might just bite it.

Damn it, I'm really getting closer and closer on giving up the pro every second...
Like I'm not even looking forward on getting it. Since we are most probably 2017 batch, I'm more hyped for Switch.

There goes the end of november batch, next batch december to fulfill early october and probably around march for end of october batch. SP&K everybody!

Absolutely worst worst worst shop experience i've had after so many years of buying stuff.

My last hope is the end of november/possibly december batch restock will bring some to Gurney Sony Center. Anyway update me if anybody finds out any sony center around penang is selling one.

This is the problem. They kept pushing blame to Sony Malaysia. Of course Sony Malaysia is in the fault here but the fact that they kept taking order and previously promising first batch plus 200 units reserved for their shop is unbelievable. Sure, it was unexpected that they ended up receiving 13 units, but why allow more people to order even in November and promised for first batch, we didn't even get a release date at that time. Other shop closed order since early Oct or end of Nov while SP&K and gameon keep taking order up to 200~300 units, then without giving any notice, they just left the order there to slowly fulfill.

In short, the attitude of "it is what it is" pisses me off.

Honestly I dont care about the G5 discount code, I would happily pay 1799, and yes, I check Sony online store everyday since they put the item up on store. They didn't accept any orders at all.

Just messaged them asking status of my order, and how long is the queue/how many more to reach me, possibly 2017?
Their reply "Don't know yet"

Oh yea, my god, first they say Sony allocate many stocks for them this time, next thing you know, "we are small shop, that's why stock lesser"

Just tell them it's a ps4 pro, they will understand. I contacted them and they said it will be full refund since they couldn't fulfill it. So yea, full refund.

Tell them PS4 pro, I believe they received countless amounts of complaints so no extra charges.

Highly suggest you to contact them back on this issue, just explain to them and i guarantee you will get back your RM50.

Anybody knows how to register warranty for the Pro? Or is it similar to PSVR, just keep receipt?
