Personally I'm fine with PS4 graphics most of the time, there's a comparison of Titanfall 2 image, which shows a sharper image with more grasses. I'm just in for the PSVR improvement, which is promising so far because they were able to render twice the pixel and more detailed stuff.

Update : apparently even heavyarm have no idea on the release date of Pro. Sony Malaysia didn't update anybody yet. 3 Days from launch, looks like it will be PSVR delay all over again, delay at last minute without announcing anything but this time could be worse since it will be a month delay.

A lot of people got their hands on since last week because Walmart doesn't care apparently. There's a lot of youtube videos showing some of the gameplay footages already. Meanwhile Malaysia being Malaysia.

That was the old old news, when they assumed they were getting 200 freaking units. A lot of the shops told me "This time Sony is allocating much more units to the authorized seller" and look what happens now...

The 200 units news for whole Malaysia is very likely to be true, that is also why it got pass SIRIM smoothly this time. So yea, that 200 lucky owners will get one and the rest will be end of Nov ~ Dec earliest.

It depends but COD, titanfall, battlefield online game are always much more active in PS4 since PC is all about Dota 2, CSGO, LoL in Malaysia.
COD don't even have dedicated server for Malaysia and ping is always 200+, plus a very inactive community compared to PS4.
If you are looking to play games like COD, BF1, Titanfall2, go for PS4.
Overwatch is more on PC I believe.

Used to game on PC only before getting a PS4 and titanfall 1 pretty much died after 2 weeks. And nobody really plays COD on PC...

Well for some of us, it wasn't really an issue of being impatient to play a slightly better graphics games but the fact that we are selling our old ps4 with a buyer offering a good price. The longer the delay will only make the market value decrease.

They are really smart. Specifically callout malaysia available now despite 0 availability. Basically to make a fake public image to show how wel they are handling this time even though nothing is available.

Holy shit they say KLCC got stock today? 120 units

Playstation Asia just posted available now in Malaysia.
I asked SP&K what that means, they say KLCC got 120 unit out for sale, shops won't be getting stock until the next shipment which is end of nov/december.

Those big shops previously got Psvr on launch will be prioritized. Heavyarm, gh and possibly m4g will get like 10 units today or in this week. The rest is second shipment. Even impulse is delayed apparently

I know this has been said many times but wow, if this was a first time happening, fine... after so many times, preorder still don't get anything while they prioritize people for walk in purchase.

From november 10, to mid november, to end of november, to somewhere in december and now we are at end of december. Hooray guys, preorder your items and pay for it to make sure you can get your item as early as 2 months later. Lucky this isn't PSVR, at least ps4 pro is not such a big deal for me until Horizon, since i don't have a 4k hdr tv.

BTW guys the latest ATR announced FFXV is targeting 1080p 60fps for PS4 pro, most likely running on an unlocked framerate with improved details. Coming December.

Anybody from Penang? I'm thinking of going a hunt around Penang to see which shop has it. There's probably 3 units sitting in one not well known shop somewhere...

Just called Gurney store and Queensbay sony center. Queensbay didn't pick up and Gurney said they will bring in stock, made me happy for a sec, then say no idea on date.

Oh yea, i don't even care about cancellation fee or discount price as long as I get one.
This afternoon I called Sony the curve and they say got stock, I was so close to buying a ticket to go down and buy, too bad 1 hour later no more stock.
Asked my brother in KL help me go buy, too bad he's busy. Oh well, just my luck.

I'm honestly considering to just give up the Pro and wait for Switch, which I will get it regardless. But MYR is so unstable, I worried if I don't stick with this order, next year the price will go crazy.

Getting switch for sure, but since I don't plan on getting 4k hdr display anytime soon, I'm getting the Pro mainly for VR.

Well Pokemon codename Star is coming to the switch. There's a listing previously listed as $250 but that is just a placeholder/estimation by ToysRus. It will be around that for sure.

Here's my problem with local shops.

First, you ask them countless time "Hey am I in the first batch?"
Well, naturally they respond to you "Yes". Understandable because they want to sell you stuff.
Then, they tell you "Well we are still taking first batch order, 200 units of order and still going strong" DESPITE Sony didn't assign any number or dates.
Fine, business is business, they are trying to earn money only. Post launch, ask about how long do I have to wait, they can't give answer, alright, they push the blame fully to Sony Malaysia.
When asked about at least give me a number? how many units do I need to wait to reach me? Well, it's a secret, they don't dare to let you know because they will lose you as a customer.

I mean the least they can do is let us know where we are in the waiting list? Why is that so secret and hard to do?

If it was like a 200 units order promised by Sony and last minute 180 units come in, fine.
Last minute they tell us 10 units coming. Great.

Did they give you anything in regards to the waiting list? Many and many people ask them, even those Sept ordered ones, all they can answer is well you're in the waiting list.
