So Zombi is the other April free to play game... I saw the youtube IGN review and it seems rather boring, repeatedly hitting the zombie (same animation) to make a kill, a slow motion button smasher. I also dislike games that requires a torchlight to illuminate dark spaces, which means slowly traveling through a small area which otherwise would take less than half a minute to travel through.... Mauling down zombies with melee attack with lots of blood splashes seems to be mindless unnecessary violence and glorified bloodshed.

Free game sucks on PS Plus (except helldivers which I already own the disk), but free games on Xbox Gold is great (Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, Metal Gear Solid V, Sunset Overdrive........). If only Microsoft officially release their console here with official warranty. Xbox One is pushing out more and more functionality with their console, full backward compatibility with previous generation games, integration with Windows 10 and even forward compatibility promised (current gen game will run on next generation console).

I downloaded last night but not yet play it, I did start the game to take a peek at the graphic, close up shot of the character has very nice skin texture, gameplay wise not as photo realistic as the actual main game trailer.

Here's my take on the PS4.5
- it is meant to boost the graphic on PSVR so that those game can have graphic quality that is on par with PS4 playing on normal TV, not surpass it;
- it is unlikely that newer game can only run on PS4.5 and not PS4, or run too poorly on PS4. The PS4.5 wouldn't take a huge leap of gpu power, only a marginal increase of gpu power to cater VR;
- it will not really run 4k gaming on TV as some speculate, just look at the price tag of PC gpu card that is 4k capable, no way Sony can sell a console with a PC price tag;
- if PS4.5 has any 4k support, that would be in the form of 4k video playback or streaming only;
- moving forward most current gen PS4 game should be playable on future gen console as proven by Xbox One, just like games on PC can be run with different configuration PC. The PS3 game cannot be played on PS4 because PS3 was cell-processor based, but nowadays both Xbox and PS is almost PC like, hence future gen console will easily run the previous gen game provided the console maker put a little effort to come out with a emulator engine just like what Microsoft did on Xbox One.
- For those who worried too much that the PS4 will have SIGNIFICANT inferior graphic/performance vs PS4.5, just look at those PS3 game remastered for PS4, does the upscalled game look overwhelming good that it trashes the original PS3 version, no they don't. Game developer will still focus on the 40 million PS4 user base instead of a PS4.5 user base that will never catch up to the 40 million mark before PS5 come out.

I believe the rumor is not without merit.

1) If the PS4.5 is indeed untrue, it would be wise for Sony to deny it publicly so that prospective new console buyer would not hold back their purchase in anticipation of a newer upscaled console. The rumor may hurt the sales of the current console.
2) There is legitimate need of extra processing power to accommodate PSVR.

Why get so intimidated by newer gadget?

Do you drive the best car on the road?
Do you live in the best house in your neighborhood?
Do you always hold the latest smartphone model?
Do you have the largest 4k or 8k TV in your home?
Do you always get the best and nothing but the best in life?

If your answer to the above is no, so why get so intimidated just because your console is not the longer the newest model? Just enjoy the console like you enjoy your normal life even if it's never the best.

If your answer to the above is a YES, then you sure can afford whatever latest gadget there is.

That little box with VR is for splitting the signal from Ps4 into 2 signals, one to TV and another one to VR headset, it assist VR headset to upscaled the VR frame rate, but it has no other graphical processing output. This box will most likely remain even with rumored Ps4.5 coming out.

We need PC with Windows 8.1 or windows 10 to use remote play feature, majority of PC is still on earlier windows version.

Same here, been checking the store quite often hoping to download new free game.... Why can't Sony fixed a same date every month?

I checked now through mobile phone the PS store still didn't show the new free to play game. Last night also I check through PS4 also don't have any changes. ????????

But shouldn't Tuesday come earlier for the eastern region than western region? Did the globe reverse rotation for the PS store....

The space twin stick shooter seem to be a pretty deep Space MOBA as per YouTube video walkthrough, but maybe a little too deep, l like pick up and play games that's simple fun, that's how video games should remain.

4k TV is not necessary unless you go 55" and above or you sit very close to TV. The 4k rumour for PS is for video playback, not gaming. PS 4.5 is not capable of 4k gaming.

Also it's lower resolution, only up to 720p. For me, even though I have other LED TV at home, I prefer to play it on the largest screen, that's the 55" 3D TV sitting at the living room can't go back to the 40”, that one only used for my old Xbox360 that I hardly touch anymore.

65"... I had to choose between larger screen or 3D functionality and I chose the 3D.
I was hoping my next TV to be 80" or above (when it's more affordable of course), but now it seems that maybe the 2nd gen VR will give me a wall size Screen without having to buy a huge ass TV let's pray for VR to really succeed

PS Plus Asia finally updated with the April free to play games......

One of the so-claimed benefits of PS Plus membership was supposed to be able to try out games for free limited time.......... I clicked on the 40 minute trial and the page is empty...... Sony should stop advertising such a member "benefit".... FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!

Microsoft just confirmed there won't be a Xbone 1.5, now it's only left with Sony to confirm whether the rumor of PS4.5 is true or not. Personally I do not think a gaming console should go the way of PC with constant upgrading, gaming console started as an affordable and convenient way of gaming, it was never about catching up to PC specs.

Well the competitive nature of the console market has shown us that no individual console maker can make a controversial decision without repercussion. Microsoft got burnt really bad when it announced game disk no longer transferable and similar policies, Sony didn't play along and end up being the winner of the current gen console war. Microsoft retracted its intention on preventing game disk transfer but damage was already done.

The rumor of half generation console started with Microsoft with talks of upgradable console, now Microsoft has officially denied the possibility of half gen console. If Sony decided to copy the "smartphone" trend of annual model renewal and put it in console market which is totally a different market, they are making really bold move and big gamble without the rival Microsoft doing the same. Sony's individual push for unconventional console life cycle can backfired against it just like how Microsoft screwed up in the current gen launch.

There are HUGE difference between smartphone market and console market.

All smartphone basically run the same apps (segmentation comes in the form of iOS or Android version only). Most apps runs pretty much the same on a budget smartphone vs high end flag ship model. All the apps are open to different brands and model of smartphone. Not so in console where games can only run on specific console, not even different gen of the same console. Console games are not forward compatible, smartphone apps generally are.

We can have thousands of different models of smartphones and all of them have the same access to the existing apps. You can annually upgrade your smartphone but still retain all the apps you bought, not so on console, just like how your collection of PS2 or PS3 games are useless on PS4. Having different version of console may means that certain games are not optimized, either on the older model or the newer model. Cross-gen games are either running poorly on older console or the graphical capability is not push to max on the newer gen console, the same will likely happen in a half-gen console scenario.

Sony can't just copy the faster model cycle of smartphone whilst ignoring the open-endedness nature of smartphone apps and smartphone hardware.

The pricier one could be Malaysia set while the cheaper one is the South East Asia set (SEA), both set is covered under warranty by Sony Msia. Just buy the cheaper one fulfilled by Lazada, i personally bought the Lazada one last February at RM1198 only. Try to wait for rebate offer with certain credit card purchase. Have fun.
