Fortunately it comes with Audyssey Low Frequency Containment band which I find it handy  tongue.gif  according to the manual its written. Anyhow i dont really listen to music too loud on max about 55 the volume, dont want to mess with my neighbours  tongue.gif

Audyssey LFC™ solves the problem of low frequency sounds disturbing people in neighboring rooms or apartments. Audyssey LFC™ dynamically monitors the audio content and removes the low frequencies that pass through walls, floors and ceilings. It then applies psychoacoustic processing to restore the perception of low bass for listeners in the room. The result is great sound that no longer disturbs the neighbors

Might as well off your subwoofer and use bookshelf speaker as front speaker which won't dive down frequency, lol

Hi guys, do we still have "radio" decks specifically connect to an AVR and only play radio stations? My AVR Radio is dead but the AVR still good and no plans to change for now.

Get some used FM tuner. I'm using earlier gen of Denon network audio player comes with FM tuner function too.

you made me work....  mad.gif

desa has a kef q400b, klipsch r-100sw...and few others... https://desahome.com/find.php?vipflg=N&cate...ubcats%5B%5D=SW

others... mission ms-200, monitor audio mrw10...and a few more...

priority based on spec and my pref for sealed subs... kef, mission, klipsch, monitor audio... you may want the monitor audio because got white... lol...

as mentioned earlier... for 20hz you need ~4k budget... putting in differently extra 2k to go 10hz lower...
*
No mission subwoofer please
ktek said jangan to Wharfedale subwoofer which seems to be same as this mission sub.

Hi Sifu, since my budget is low, looking at second hand unit with 9.2 channel or above.

Was looking at  Denon AVR-X6400H and Denon AVR-X7200WA. Or any other equivalent recommendation is fine as well.

Also suggestion of any used store (other than style laser, hifi4), do let me know as well. Thank you.

Carousell got 1 seller Rex something, specialist selling used Denon AVR, I think I saw those 2 models he advertised.

I know...there is nno argument between woofer and subwoofer,  biggrin.gif but since I have 4 12in woofer, I would like to drive with it first. After getting my new amp, if it cant drive it, then I may consider a sub.

This is the speaker I have

This kind of speaker got good bass?
I had something similar before, sansui speaker, 3 way the woofer cone so huge 12.xx", but still need tone control maxed in order to screw out the mid bass, and it's not going deep low below 40Hz tho... Good for hall disco usage, but not for movie watching taste, haha.

No to mission VX3, it's just a 2-way single 130mm bass driver with passive radiator.
Meanwhile Stylelaser got sell Wharfedale Crystal 4.3, a proper 3 way speaker, but audition yourself before decide ya, someone here bought that, can't remember who...

Hi all sifus... I wish to get some advice from the experienced owners here..

I initially went to Stylelazer looking for a 5.1.2 atmos package with a budget of RM5k, what they recommended was this

https://www.stylelaser.com.my/product/denon...heatre-package/

After demo, i don't think the combo sounded good at all, particularly the highs are too "strong/piercing".

A friend told me it may due to no calibration b4 the demo... Now I hesitates to spend RM6.5k gambling on it'll sound good after calibration...

Also is my budget of RM5k too little for a 5.1.2 Atmos package? Will it sound much much better if i spend the same budget on a branded 2.1 instead?

Few years back I went to audition a bookshelf speaker, playing songs for a good while, 1 hour? I ask the seller do you have floor stand speaker with +- of my bookshelf speaker budget range, then he switch to Jamo floor stand, can't remember model, but with side firing woofer. He connect back to the same amplifier, after 5 mins I already cannot tahan the sharp and loud treble, feel like ear bleeding, not my taste.

Just don't get onkyo for the time being.. the company lately seems undergoing business changes... their customer service sucks also.. 😕.. the 3 that you had listed are reasonable.. myself I m using Denon x2000 the entry audyssey capable unit but limited by future upgrade as they don't allow preout except for zone 2

1) fix = static not moving. once decide u leave it forever

2) before audysey. denon put front ch level to zero db. never change it.
not master vol yaaa

3) later we use denon built in test tone to ear match front LR (using pioneer see step 4 below) vs center ch (dont change original value).
becos they r nearest positon

4) pioneer adjust master volume only (pls clear current mcacc memory bank). save as power on db.

5) run a audsey calibrate. he make all channel level equal.
check channel level result. as long any of them not touch limit 12db =pass

ideally front LR number near zero. u may repeat step 4,5 until satisfy

Seems best AVR can fine tuning adjust sana sini.
Sifu, Denon x4200 good for entrance to AVR world bo?
