I thinks we should make a list of owners / bookers. Need to state info such as model, color and which sa it was booked. For those taken delivery, they can state their booking date, duration and also date of delivery. This will help prospective buyers in buying decision.

FYI, I have the impression that smaller towns have way lesser on their booking list. Though their delivery quota might be lesser, I was told those booked 2 weeks back can get their car around Raya. That's pretty quick.

Myself I've booked 1.5t premium opwhite on mid April and scheduled to received around end of this mth.

The sa I went is not a branch so the allocation is not divided. Though their allocation is smaller, the waiting list is still much shorter because of lower volume. 2ndly prospective buyer might not be aware of it until it's launch or when they see one on the road.

Wah....booked half year ago without knowing the local specs and pricing. A bit kiashu???

Remind me of those days not that long ago, when people booked Proton cars before actually seeing how the model look or the price.

Its only impractical if the buyer gets an extended loan to afford the car. If based on affordability, my rule of thumb is if you cannot afford to pay a 5 year car loan, then this is not the car for u.

But in many cases (including mine), I will extend to max 9 years because it makes more investment sense. Same reason why I maximise housing loan tenures and do not pay off early.

For rm135k and 2.7%, u only pay an extra rm7k for the 2 extra years (9years) facility resulting in lower installment.

Imo it's worth it when considering we can have more cash to invest and enjoy much higher returns to cover the 7k.

Not forgetting this civic is going to ejoy strong rv so the additional rm7k interest won't hurt much.

Better deal outside. My SA quoted Honda ecotint RM 1500. But i want to go for 3M Crystalline 70 front,Nano 40 frontsides, Nano 40 rear sides & Crystalline 40 rear. Got RM 2.2k for the combination

U can use the voucher for outside deal. That way you can choose which branch and specs you preferred.

My SA also offered me rm300 ecotint voucher for outside. But I declined. Just double checked with your SA. Usually can. But only for Vkool.

I saw the cars today.  Same OPW 1.5T Premium, Ruby Red 1.5T and MS 1.8 spec.  Looks like the mid spec 1.5T comes with leather and auto dimming mirror as well.  SA said the Premium spec will be ~RM135k similar to the previous 9th Gen Civic 2.0 Navi top spec in terms of price.

Also confirmed that I'll be getting my car this month.

Yes full spec 7" screen similar to the Thai RS headunit for mid spec and also 1.8.  So it should come with CarPlay and will be compatible with Andriod Auto.  Paddle Shift also std on mid spec 1.5T.  1.8 comes with fabric seats.
