Any idea what tyres are provided? I hope they give us good ones like Michelin. Im very particular about tyres.

Yea...Would like to see the interior of the 1.5 Turbo to justify the price difference against the 1.5 Turbo Premium.

Still can't figure out why the 1.5 Turbo Premium so exp. 

Just went to see The Civic. I got the chance to explore the car. So here is my findings:

1) Interior quality, fit and finish is on par with Mazda cars. Feels expensive and upscale. Premium and Midspec has the same finishes ( leather seats and brush metal garnish).The only differences are exterior features, Navi,and dual zone ac. All variants got leather wrap steering wheel and leather wrap shift knob, but 1.8 comes with fabric seat and different texture metal garnish on dashboard. The rest is totally the same.

2) The seat is comfortable, very low and sporty seating position. From the back, you can feel the interior is very spacious, its almost an Accord in term of size. Compare to US, centre console is not as deep because need to allow for aircond shaft to pass through for rear ac.

3) The bootspace is quite spacious, wide and deep. Unfortunately all 3 variants can't fold the seat. We don't have 60/40 split feature! From the boot, it seams that there is a stabilizer strut that ties the chassis. According to SA to make the car more rigid for better handling/cornering.

4) Rain sensing wipers and auto dimming mirror come standard for Premium and midspec.

I can say, if you don't mind the led headlights and Turbo engine, one will be satisfied with 1.8 NA. Really not much different.

Yeah even my SA is useless.

And yes ive always found Lowyat info to be much earlier and quite accurate.

Wow the 1.8 specs are very good, if include leather seats will be perfect.

Didnt managed to test drive coz i think they said the car is not registered at JPJ yet.

Very polarizing opinion on its power. Some said its soft turbo and no feel while going full beans. Others who had mainly driven it says its really quick off the line and feels effortless in getting up to speed.

With 8 sec 0-100, i think it cant be 'slow'. Will report once i get the car this month.

Totally agree. The stock rear looks better than Modulo's spoiler.

But it will look so much nicer with the RS spoiler.

Lets make an effort to source for it.

Golf GTI is not in the same category so to based on it is biased opinion.

I used to drive Jetta so i guess i can give better judgement. Jetta's 0-100kmph official rating was 8.5 sec and the civic at 8.2 sec. So i doubt the civic's a slouch as some claimed.
