I just booked the coating package for my wife's car (when it arrives). RM2,180. Same MOHS+ package as my own car. Regal Valet was having a promo last weekend. 30-40% discount with additional 2 years warranty. Mine only had 2 years warranty.

Its really good. But most importantly im impressed with their after sales service. Not calculative at all.

If anybody is interested, I can speak to the owner and get a group discount.

Even more reason if you want leather, either get it factory fitted or a shop with personnel who really know what they are doing with proven track record.
Yup. In this case Honda Malaysia doesn't retrofit hence my earlier comment on getting a leather detailer who deals with high end conti's.

Actually, I am quite interested, how much for the new Civic after discount? How many years of warranty?
It was RM2,180 yesterday. 4 years warranty. For those getting the 1.8L, the MOHS+ package also comes with a fabric seat coating.

do you have contact for Polarized Paint Protection System (PPS) coating too? heard that it is cheaper about 1k
Nope.

But being cheaper doesn't make something good. Regal Valet Malaysia is the official detailer for Bentley, Rolls Royce, Lotus and BMW Quill. And my own BMW was coated by them in Dec 2015. I wouldn't be recommending them if they weren't good. Not like im getting a cut. The owners are always hands on making it a point to train and supervise their workers.

Plus RM2K+ for a complete high grade coating for the Civic is surely good value.

Last month, Regal Valet did the detailing for the RM3mil Bentley Bentayga luxury SUV. Fastest SUV in the world.

I can imagine the envious look of onlookers on your new CivicX.  biggrin.gif
Enjoy your fame on the road.
Where is that other guy who supposedly got his Civic already? How come no pics or any input from him? rclxub.gif

I just thought about this... As you all know, Honda Civic can be filled with RON92 and above, so we should be able to fill in with RON95 fuel. However the Civic 1.5T is a Euro4 engine. RON95 fuel in Malaysia is only Euro2 compliant, and only RON97 fuel is Euro4m compliant.

So we should only fill in RON97 fuel and never RON95 am I right?
Please post again on the new thread.

had a look at this Civic the other day. I could not tell the difference between this and the Bezza. Both had appalling interior plastics. Both had the same size boot. Both are feminine pondan-mobiles. At least with Bezza you save RM80K, and you won't look like a fool stranded by the roadside with a failed CVT. Test drove the Civic. Road noise was terribly loud. B-pillar trims emitted creaking sounds when going over bumps. Wind noise started at 80kph. Transmission made a lot of whiny noise. There's delay in the drive-by-wire response. Brakes were spongy. Speakers were tin sounding. Aircond wasn't cold enough. Ride was harsh and the car vibrated a lot. Steering wasn't responsive enough. Pick up (0 to 40) was sluggish. Radio reception was bad. Seatbelt kept getting stuck. Windows wound slowly with excessive noise. Honda's quality has gone downhill in recent years. All they care about is getting cars to look pretty to please yuppies and daffodils. Can't they make a decent car? This Civic is no better that a Proton Saga. Shameful. A peon's car.
Going around talking crap i see. Why don't u use your original nick? Why register a new one just to talk rubbish? doh.gif

But regardless what nick u use, even if your points above were credible, I would still accept. But 90% of what you wrote was complete bollocks. I would gladly thrash your argument point by point if you use your original nick. The remaining 10% was accurate I must say.

FYI, I drive a F10 and my judgement of the Civic was based on that and I was impressed with the Civic. A car that gives so much for just 113K. That's value for money for sure.

Next time, if u want to be taken seriously, at least come up with a more accurate and concrete overall argument. biggrin.gif

Never owned turbo car before, can anyone tell me whether other Turbo car like BMW or Merc or WRX or Fiesta ST do have the same maintenance style as the Civic Turbo?
BMW is similar in which the servicing interval is Condition Based. The harder u drive the car the more often ull need to service. But for BMW the servicing is free for 100K or 5 yrs.
