Heh, kena reported for posting Mara's appearance in Persona 5 thread. It ain't being a "dick", Mara has been in past Personas before. Only now because of P5 widespread appeal, more prudes are exposed to the lewd nature of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei games. Maybe they'll pengsan if they play "Catherine". tongue.gif

Inilah akibatnya being shielded from the realities of life and being spoonfed too much Disney movies. tongue.gif

People already declaring the best so far being......*gasp*....Ubisoft's showing? If you tell me in any E3 in any year that the big turd that is Ubisoft won E3, I'd be squeezing a soft one at the toilet bowl while laughing maniacally. tongue.gif

Nintendo will never Nintendoom. They'll always be happy with where they are in their own separate private little niche on the wall.....you know, like that little hole you see left after pulling out a screw from the wall. Sony will be the big ass billboard that covers that said wall, while MS is that bright annoying neon sign that says "look at me, I'm prettiest" with its X1X.

Nintendoom disaster averted....... if that Metroid Prime 4 is real. Announcing it with the number 4 doesn't instill confidence. Genuinely surprised by Rocket League, that's been heavily rumored, but didn't expect that to happen.

LOL to the naysayers who says Monster Hunter World is not a mainline Monster Hunter game, a.k.a Monster Hunter V.

The Truth About "Monster Hunter: World"

Specifically:

-The Base Camp spawns in random places. Each time a hunt starts, hunters will be at a different Base Camp.
-Hunters can change weapons and armor midhunt by going to the Base Camp. This feature was added due to there usually being multiple large monsters in an area and from each having a different strength or weakness.
-Hunters can now hunt freely without being held back by the main objective/quest, even if the quest is complete. Hunters can hunt freely without any limits now.
-Hunters use Scout Flies as guides to help them navigate the area if they can't find the monster and to find certain items, including drool and footprints.
-The monsters can easily change the environment you are fighting in with certain attacks and destroying certain objects.
-Each large monster in a location has a territory in a certain part of the area. In some cases, hunters may need to lure another threat into their territory in order to get their target to reveal itself.
-By hiding from monsters, hunters can avoid fighting them or prepare for a silent escape from the battle.
-Capcom thought about giving the monsters health bars due to a majority of people. Globally, fans requested for a way to see how much damage they were dealing, so Capcom decided to add damage numbers to the this game.
-The Quest Giver was fully voiced in English, and she sent the hunter on a quest to hunt an Anjanath, the T-rex-like monster shown in the reveal.
-Hunters can quickly pick up resources as they run by, meaning you don’t have to stop and wait for foraging animations.

For new people coming in, here's a recap of info that has been shared so far by Capcom employees who have worked on/with Monster Hunter.

- A 4:56 video that shows a bit more extended footage of the things we've already seen.
- Monster Hunter: World is not a spin-off.
- Monster Hunter: World was worked on by the main development team in Japan.

More info gathered from interviews gathered at E3 showfloors collated into that NeoGAF thread linked.

RIP shitty 240p Monster Hunter. The series is forcibly dragged kicking and screaming into the future after rotting in 240p cesspool that is the 3DS. The last stand for MH old-school diehards, the "MH:XX" has not seen any comfirmation of a localized Western translation so far. https://twitter.com/SocksyBear/status/874767706716852224

That "Monster Hunter: World" and "no localization for MH:XX" bombshells of an info dump shut a lot of people up in here. They were snideful and so confident about it being a spinoff instead of a mainline MH. Where are these very confident people now? It's pretty quiet in here.

I feel vindicated and justified.

So is it worth the money for this snes? Honestly i am more interested on snes classsic compared to nes classic
*
It's worth "retail money", not "scalped money". even the NES does too. Now even the game stores can joining in scalping fun since they know what's the deal with the pricing after the NES fiasco. This isn't the US, where large stores at retail are required by law to sell at retail price, that way at least you stand a chance getting them at the price it should be. This is Malaysia, where even the price of a bottle of Lipton Ice Lemon Tea varies wildly according to what the stores CHOOSES to price it at: Newsplus in Sg. Wang Plaza sells it at RM3.45, in Amcorp Mall for RM2.90 while the actual price at Aeon or any mom-and-pop store is supposed to be RM2.20. And I know my ice lemon teas. tongue.gif

Trust me, come this September, you'll see posts of people complaining about scalping, people who boast about themselves able to get the SNES Mini the closest to retail price (it's like playing The Price Is Right with your own money tongue.gif ), and people who complained about not being able to get the SNES Mini at all. History repeats itself.

I used to want to throw money for that nostalgia feels for the NES Mini, but once the fervor looking for one sets in and the retailers bowed down to the pressure of scalping prices, like I mentioned before....."nostalgia ain't worth THAT much money". I'm more nostalgic about my bank account figures. tongue.gif

to pray or not to pray, that's the question now...

stringfellow our ninty bus driver, any comments? tongue.gif

I'd rather brush up on my English first before going up on the public announcement system than pray. tongue.gif sometimes it's better NOT to say a word than saying something that could induce chaos, riot and panic. Or say as little as possible, only things necessary, than blabbing everything out in a hopeless attempt to instil confidence and calm into the sheeps at the back when the sheeps already know what's going on outside the window. tongue.gif

In short, he could've just said "we are returning back to the port of origin due technical difficulty, stay in your seats, and follow further instructions from your cabin crew." Habis sudah. Giving more info than that, just makes your sheeps at the back bleating in fear and confusion. No need to ask them to pray lah, if they're the religious kind, it's automatic. Prayers don't fly planes.

In related news, PRAY that you don't get slaughtered like sheeps for your nostalgic dose of SNES Mini. tongue.gif Fun trivia, how do you pronounce SNES? "Snezzzz"? "Super Nintendo Entertainment System"? "Super NES"? "Ess En Eee Ess"? You can tell a lot about that person based on how he pronounce it. God *pun intended*, that forum is awesome. Always lively and full of either the cheesiest nonsense, the whiniest bullshit, and the most awesome discussion threads in all of gaming forums I've come about. They do check and balance there, people of differing sides and opinions are free to express themselves. Unlike here, where certain factions, cliques and opinions are sacred and cannot be touched or debated upon. rolleyes.gif

No smoke if there's no fire.

It would've happen sooner if I didn't ignore his sorry ass. Even when ignored he still gets his way through. Imagine if I didn't ignore him. And here I thought the advice was to ignore people who annoys you?

P/s: "his sorry ass" isn't "attack mode or pissing people off". It's the American slang for effectuating displeasure at one's person. Watch "Conan" TV talk show, he speaks the same way to elicit comedic value in his show speaking that way as well, when he's communicating with his African American audience. Wont apologise if your experience in English literature is bare minimum to understand that.

Had to post all these "disclaimers" coz folks here are only familiar with the prim, proper and boring Malaysian way of posting. Maybe I should insert some "lah", "leh" and "loh" more in my posts.
