I'd rather brush up on my English first before going up on the public announcement system than pray. sometimes it's better NOT to say a word than saying something that could induce chaos, riot and panic. Or say as little as possible, only things necessary, than blabbing everything out in a hopeless attempt to instil confidence and calm into the sheeps at the back when the sheeps already know what's going on outside the window.

In short, he could've just said "we are returning back to the port of origin due technical difficulty, stay in your seats, and follow further instructions from your cabin crew." Habis sudah. Giving more info than that, just makes your sheeps at the back bleating in fear and confusion. No need to ask them to pray lah, if they're the religious kind, it's automatic. Prayers don't fly planes.

In related news, PRAY that you don't get slaughtered like sheeps for your nostalgic dose of SNES Mini. Fun trivia, how do you pronounce SNES? "Snezzzz"? "Super Nintendo Entertainment System"? "Super NES"? "Ess En Eee Ess"? You can tell a lot about that person based on how he pronounce it. God *pun intended*, that forum is awesome. Always lively and full of either the cheesiest nonsense, the whiniest bullshit, and the most awesome discussion threads in all of gaming forums I've come about. They do check and balance there, people of differing sides and opinions are free to express themselves. Unlike here, where certain factions, cliques and opinions are sacred and cannot be touched or debated upon.

P/s: "his sorry ass" isn't "attack mode or pissing people off". It's the American slang for effectuating displeasure at one's person. Watch "Conan" TV talk show, he speaks the same way to elicit comedic value in his show speaking that way as well, when he's communicating with his African American audience. Wont apologise if your experience in English literature is bare minimum to understand that.

At first I thought you're one of the cool kids/nerds when you mentioned "N.E.S/S.N.E.S", but then later you mentioned calling it "Super Nintendo". Cool factor deflated. Only TV commercials and clueless moms and dads call them "Super Nintendo", like how these moms and dads call recording a video as "taping" it, as if referring to the *yuck* VHS tapes. *vomits*

Most of my nostalgia can be serviced with emulators. A mini version of an actual version that doesn't accept cartridges ain't doing it for me, coz in the end, if you wanna make it as if you have endless supplies of SNES games in it, you'd have to copy ROMs into its internal memory, and that'll make you realize that it's an emulator, not the real thing. You're just infatuated with the shape of the thing, the process of getting and playing games from it, comes from emulators that are available freely on the market.

If they re-release the original version with working cartridge slot (and modified HDMI output instead of those RCA or *vomit* RF/TV antenna out), that'll be a better reason to get one for me. An Raspberry Pi emulator encapsulated in a shell of the classic console in mini form,........ is just a lie to me.

my childhood memory seems to to skip snes generation started from nes then straight ps
i never own any of it childhood time just see the cool kid next door own it and might be able to touch the controller once in a while now i become the person that enjoy seeing other play than to play it my self

It would be a "must buy" for me if the console includes some of the title I played from my friend house before e.g Dragonball, Aladin, Super Metroid. Contra Alien War is inside correct?

You can always make it your own "must buy", if the state of its hardware is similar to what the NES Mini was, you can install your own ROMs in and play.

Inb4 "no StarFox 2 ROM out in the wild, other than fan-translated or Japanese version patched to English". Well........by the time this SNES Mini releases, there will be. If you know what I mean. That's the nature of emulated software, you can easily swap in content, and easily swap out as well. It'll be ironic if the StarFox 2 version of the game in that SNES Mini, turns out to be the same English fan-translated version of the ROM already out in the wild now. That'll be a giggle.

sound like something Nintendo will totally do...
