Change of new policy.
Max RM50K cash top up per day.

(Sources: http://www.asnb.com.my/v3_/asnbv2_5faq.php...nmaksimumtunai)

PENETAPAN HAD PELABURAN MAKSIMUM TUNAI

Penetapan Had Pelaburan Maksimum RM50,000 Sehari
Bilakah tarikh kuat kuasa?
1 Mac 2016.

Just a quick question,

I've maxed out my ASB acc and my 2 kids asb remaja as well.

Is ASB2 the next acc I should open? Thanks
*
Yes ASB2 is the next best alternative

Another meaningless statement by saying the absolute amount of dividend is increased.

The increase in absolute dividend payout was due to the increase in the number of units sold / increase in the number of investors. So what is the point???

No bonus declare???? Seems ASB is still the best.

More banks are offering the ASB2 loans, besides Maybank, Affin Bank and now CIMB Bank.
With the very slim profit difference in between the dividend declare and interest rate, not worth to leverage to invest already.

i also dont study finance. ASX ranks No 3 in my portfolio. 1 is properties, monthly rental =8.0% pa,
2 bank bonds,- fixed 7.5% paid 6 monthly.
UT should rank lower than my FDs , though on paper IRR 7% ,
cant say till you cash all out,
shares i dont recommend,
forex forget it.

*
Your portfolio is similar to mine. more towards conservative. Heavy on properties.
For bonds, you buying the retail bonds? or the direct bond issuance ? if t is later the minimum entry is RM250K right?

There is a bond fund that consistently pay above 6%-7%, for the last 10 years without fail. Do some homework at Morningstar, you will find it.
Can invest as low as 1k

The above link refers. I am tempted to get this to fund for my ASB purchase. Is the loan rate competitive? It is at 1.25% + 4.10% BLR..
*
cimb is offering 5.2% rate, and it is negotiable to 5%.

I've been thinking how they do interest. So since only 1st of month topup got interest, that means to be given interest the money must be there from 1st till end of month?

So if I top-up eg 1,000 on 1st day of month, if the money stay there till end of month, interest given. If take out in the middle of the month, then no interest I suppose.

If topup after 1st day of month, then interest only given on the next month.

Like that?
*
dividend is monthly rest, based on the lowest balance of the month, as simple as that.

Does anyone know what happen to all the excess dividend roll over for the past years?

Source: http://sme.org.my/2016/03/15/6-30-sen-divi...saham-malaysia/

PNB president and CEO Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman said the group had the capacity to distribute income at 8.80 sen per unit. However, the management agreed to distribute the income at 6.30 sen per unit, reflected by current stock market conditions.

no surprise. we discussed about it 10000000000000x times already.
They recycle the same script every year. All in a nut shell. good years subsidizing the bad years

Cimb only can get 5% if both husband and wife take similar amount of loans. This doesn't include other family members in pair like, parents and kids, siblings and etc.

affin only offer asb2 now no more ASB loan
