Sorry ladies & gents, looks like the AS1M sale is now over. On Monday I updated that it's the fund with the most available units (probably more than 6 figures) but now the level of units free for purchase has now dropped to where ASM and ASW are normally, less than 5 figures (probably).

Will keep everyone updated on the next round of sudden availability but until then, good luck!

Managed to get a bit of AS1M. Still long way to max. Visited 3 banks since this am- no more units. Must wait for someone to sell.
No ASW & ASM too.

Hwhen is off peak

Will go asnb that time next time. But my favourite teller always not around during lunch. When is their lunchtime

The problem with off peak hours, you may not get anything as it's off peak, less people going in to unload their units.

I was at bank just before lunch yesterday, managed to get 100u only. At around 1pm, suddenly more units available as someone probably sold off their unit during lunch period. 
Luckily I was still at the bank and my favorite bank teller quickly called me to try after the other customer managed to get some after my initial turn. Only few minutes different and the other customer struck lucky & I managed to get the balance amount too.

Yes, everything is by luck. Felt like striking lottery each time the bank staff said  .

Just keep on trying again and again.

End of they day, my money will pass to them eventually... Hope they dont kick me out when they are 18 years old le.. 

That time, maybe they dont have to work and still got monthly expenses to spend...

So long i have not tried banks. They have the dun wan layan attitude. Btw can we change the as1m book in maybank already?

U guys did the trust declaration? Need to do?

I asked my bank staff again about this quota business yesterday and he said as their branch is new, this branch only received ASNB- limited service quota- he referred me to the ASNB- orange sticker- terhad at the entrance door, Other established banks at my area- ASNB- unlimited service-  blue sticker.
They have applied for upgrading as they mentioned about a customer coming in to ask for more.

I noticed the list of companies, few of them worries me esp blue chips companies but as it's only small %. Hopefully other companies managed to balance out the loss & profit. Can't expect every company to make profits.
Still I believe the dividend will be better than FD, right?

Not too sure if everyone here remembers me but i used to post here often before. Just to ask, would my mom be able to head over to the bank and top-up my account on my behalf ?

I'm asking this because I am currently abroad.
