Hi guys and girls, going through hard time now as I was unemployed for almost 3 weeks and unable to secure jobs. I cried at night and broke down. Thinking why my life so difficult and pray to Jesus to give me the strength to fight through this difficulty.

I think I'm not ready for a stepdad yet.

Hi I've been through what you're going through right now, and even longer period and worse was with family n kids "needs".

Instead of praying of strength to go through this gritting your teeth, Pray for God to remove all worries.

Why? because your worries is hindering the flow of God's Grace coming in. You need that Grace more than ever so focus on stopping the worrying.

The Scripture for saying this is based on Matthew 6:25-34. There is a very specific reason why Jesus says "Do not Worry". The reason is as what I've said, it will Hinder or delay the Grace that you need.

One more thing. Have the Faith not only to pray for a Job but be bold to pray for a position.

I had the similar issue 14 years ago and was jobless for 2 years. The worried killed you but God will bless you later just like Job.

Thks to all of you. Today I received a job offer and start tomorrow. But I am not sure if the jobs suit me and afraid I can't perform well. But thanks to God for giving me the blessings

1 Corinthians 15:30-32 (NIV)

30 And as for us, why do we endanger ourselves every hour? 31 I face death every day—yes, just as surely as I boast about you in Christ Jesus our Lord. 32 If I fought wild beasts in Ephesus with no more than human hopes, what have I gained? If the dead are not raised,

“Let us eat and drink,
for tomorrow we die.”

There is a saying in the world to ridicule Christians; there are so many gods, whose gods? The question seemed to imply in Sarcasm why should your god be special.

The Answer Lies here in 1 Corinthians 15:30-32. In Verse 32, if it was for mere human reasons or mere human hope, the apostle Paul would rather eat and drink and die tomorrow implying to enjoy the vanity of the world while it last.

But No dear Friends. The very Fact that they have seen God first hand, and not only that but because they've seen Christ Risen from the dead proving to be the Long Awaited messiah for Mankind and proven to be God is the very reason of their dedicated life to the gospel despite human ridicule, hardship or danger.

How's this week for everyone

Just some musing.

As Christians we don't have to play politics to hurt others or demean others just to protect ourselves or to be promoted because we have God who not only loves us but take care of our well being.

The people of the world do because it's survival of the fittest, a dog eat dog world.

I'm trying to encourage you, don't be like the people of this world, it's a bad testimony if you play the same game. They'll see you as no different from them.

Where is the Glory due to the Father then?

Funnily my friend just described to me how his boss spread gossip and confidential information to secure her position

My Internet down tonight using mobile to browse lyn now, I just off my main power to restart my modem, cannot even on wifi or Internet my router not even detected

Take the night off to sing praises to the Lord, read His words, and just relax in His presence.

Here is another food for thought.

Pray to our Lord! ....even if you don't feel like it, especially when you don't feel like it. Prayer connects you to God.
Don't rely and depend on people because human energy are easily drained. God's power on the other hand is inexhaustible.

Jesus knows we need God, problem is sometimes we don't know we need God.

The Book of Isaiah says:

Isaiah 40:31 (NIV): but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

I would like have an honest answer from Christians.

Do Christians have to "menegur" other Christians if they have committed some moral wrongdoings.

Let's say as a Christian, u saw someone committed adultery.

Are you obliged to judge him/scold him/punish him at your own accord?

I learnt that this is required in another religion where you have to "menegur" your fellow brothers if they have committed some moral wrongdoing.
