1 John 4:15-18 (NIV)

15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.
16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
17 This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.
18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

This is the confidence and the privilege given by our Abba in Heaven. That we rely on the Love God has for us.
We can rely on this Love without fear, without doubt, without reservation. We can rest in ease in the Love that God has for us. The Moment We acknowledge Jesus is the Son of God, God enters in our Life. Can you grasp this magnificent reality? Pehkay shared this reality through connection with the Holy Spirit in his last devotion.

Then we walk in Love because God FIRST Loved us. This is as natural as breathing the air through our nostril.

The Bible says, There is nothing in this world that can separate us from the Love of God. If the word of God says not even the Devil can separate you, what makes you think your own self can? (Romans 8:38-39) Are you stronger than the devil? No Friends, The Love of God is strongest of All and is greater than your sin. IN THIS we can have confidence and Faith we have Salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Verse 18 says there is no fear in Love. If We still fear God, it only means we have never really understood God or his word or what He does. Anyone in this fearful position, subscribe to a distant God as how some troubled individual to a abusive parents. No our God is a close to our being, close to our Heart kind of God.

Can you see this dear friends? We CAN RELY on the Love that God has for us. WE CAN!

God Bless!

THE CHRISTIAN LIVING BEING A LIFE OF MAN BEING MINGLED WITH GOD

A Christian is one who has God mingled with him. Hence, the normal Christian living is not a living that is independent or outside of God. It is a living that submits to the ruling of God, is under the direction of God, and is mingled with God.

How can man live a life that is mingled with God? God is Spirit, and when we are saved, God as the Spirit enters into our spirit, interacts with our spirit, and is joined to our spirit as one spirit. Hence, whenever we turn to our spirit and are in our spirit, we meet Him because He has been mingled with our spirit to become one spirit. When we turn to our spirit, we actually turn to Him as the Spirit. Our entire Christian living should be one that is lived out from the spirit. In our Christian living, the question is not whether we should or should not do certain things. Rather, the question is whether we do them from our soul or from our spirit.

NOT BEING A QUESTION OF WHAT WE DO
BUT OF HOW WE DO IT

The center of the Christian living is not a matter of doing the right thing but a matter of who is doing it. It is not a matter of what we do but a matter of who is doing it. In other words, is it our soul that does things or our spirit? Do we do things in our soul, or does God do them in our spirit? Our Christian living is not a matter of what to do but of how to do things. Is it our soul that does things, or is it our spirit? Almost every Christian who desires to learn to live before the Lord prays, “Lord, what is the right thing for me to do? What is pleasing to You for me to do?” The fact is that this kind of prayer does not match the spiritual reality because the key is not what we do but whether or not we have God in what we do. Is God doing a certain thing with us, or are we doing it by ourselves? Are we doing it by being mingled with God, or are we doing it on our own? Are we doing it from our soul, or are we doing it from our spirit? If we do something from our soul, we are doing it on our own, but if we do something from our spirit, we are doing it by being mingled with God.

For example, if a certain locality invites you to go to their meeting, you should go before the Lord and say, “O Lord, are You going?” Please note that you should not ask, “O Lord, do You want me to go? Should I go?” Rather, you should say, “O Lord, if You go, I will follow You. If You go, You have to go by putting me on.” Suppose you had a suit that could speak. If you were about to go to the meeting, it would bother you, saying, “Are you going to the meeting?” You would say, “Yes, I am going.” Then the suit would say, “Please put me on.” Then you would put the suit on. Thus, when you move, the suit moves. When you stand, the suit stands, and when you bend, the suit bends. The suit is “mingled” with you, and you are moving with the suit. Hence, wherever we go and whatever we do, if we do not have the inward assurance that it is the Lord who is going to a certain place or doing a certain thing by putting us on, then we know that we should not go there or do that thing. We should not ask the Lord whether or not we should do a particular thing but whether or not He is doing it (Gal. 2:20)

The really really short version: They should exercise their human spirit to pray-read/pray over the Word of God (Eph 6:18) daily until it pierces into their spirit that they may be able to discern their spirit from their soul (Eph 4:12). This causes God to grow a little bit more in you (Eph 3:17; Col 3:16), which causes His shinning to be brighter, allowing you to let Him to deal with you, and more discerning and dividing in His shinning Word [and the process goes on].

The a little bit short version: uhm, are you interested? sweat.gif

I think what he meant was; God Love the Sinner but hates the Sin.

It's here

http://www.wnd.com/2013/10/joel-osteen-god...of-homosexuals/

HuffPo Live host Josh Zepps quoted from Osteen's new book: "It doesn't matter who likes you or who doesn't like you, all that matters is God likes you. He accepts you, he approves of you."

Zepps followed up by asking if that included homosexuals.

Pastor Joel Osteen
"Absolutely," Osteen insisted, "I believe that God has breathed his life into every single person. We're all on a journey. Nobody's perfect."

THEN Read here below.

Osteen has said numerous times that he believes living a homosexual lifestyle is a sin in accordance with his understanding of Christian scripture.

....

In an appearance on Fox News Sunday in 2012, Osteen discussed his position on homosexuality by telling host Chris Wallace that he "doesn't dislike anybody" and believes gays are some of "most loving people in the world," despite his strongly held conviction that homosexuality is a sin.

"I believe the scripture says that being gay is a sin. But, you know, every time I say that, Chris … people say, well, you are a gay hater and you’re a gay basher," Osteen told Wallace during the interview. "I'm not. I don't – I don't dislike anybody. Gays are some of the nicest, kindest, most loving people in the world. But my faith is based on what I believe the scripture says, and that's the way I read the scripture.”

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The act of gay is wrong but we shouldn't use that to push people away from coming to God. Jesus was never harsh to the prostitutes. It's the act of kindness on our part as christians that draws people to God, not our condemnation.

I mean If gays are impressed with how Joel Osteen sees them and because of that grace given, if they are willing to give osteen a chance to preach to them and who knows if they accept God, then I think that is what Jesus has call us to do.

The problem with Gay can be delivered by the power of God's Salvation, i think I've heard of testimonies of Gay turning around because of what God did in their lives.

I also know There are Gay who tries to maintain their gay lifestyle while proclaiming as christians...that I'm not too worried because The HS will convict them and change them as well if anyone care enough to pray for that to happen.
