Last week i got a scare with my note 5..rain water sipping into the phone..screen flickering..touch screen unresponsive..

Then i put it in a bag of rice..and left it for 2 days..even dry it out under the sun..cukur now everything is fine again
*
I also have a scary moment like yours . I put mine on my computer graphics card(there is a back plate on the card) and play some HD movies for a while and keep it there overnight. Its okey now.

Note 5 is really not water friendly, not even a little bit , my ipad air (not 2) can withstand a few wet wipes of the palm and still works but this note 5 , a few wet palm wipes and the back and menu button goes beserk and camera gets all steamy.

Guys if i reset my whole phone, do I need to call 5 mins again to get it region unlocked? Or is it a one time thing?
*
It's a one-time thing.
Bought mine from Malaysia and using it in the UK without any problems. : smile.gif

Lets say you are from England / London. You came to Malaysia for vacation and your phone spoil. Then you buy a Samsung Note 5 in Malaysia to replace your spoil phone.

After that you cannot put in your existing England / London SIM card first.

You need to put in Local Malaysia SIM card and call for 5 minutes first. After finish call for 5 minutes then you can put in your England / London SIM card.

The regional lock is some kind of security where people cant steal new shipment phone and sell it outside South East Asia.

Lets say i took a new Note 5 from Malaysia and sell it to USA / New York. The buyer cant use the phone to call because the regional lock is there. The buyer only can use the phone as an Android Pod. No calls, no sms, no mobile data function. The rest can use like normal etc internet browser, music, video, camera, bla bla bla ...

Taken from my note 5 with auto setting.  Don't know i sensitive or what, feel my note 5 camera took pic so so only. Not sure my phone camera got problem?

What u guys think? Is the pic quality is same with your note 5 camera?
*
not sure about what u expecting on note 5 camera improvement
compare to ip6s note 5 camera tend to be more saturated which is the style for samsung
while ip6s colour tend to be more natural, it depends on which you like the most
in some environment natural colour is better while for some environment saturated colour will be more fresh

I would think the Note5 camera is overall better than my previous Z5P. To get nice beautiful shots on Z5P is not easy unlike simply point n click in Note5
Just go and read Z5P thread n see all the tips one need to take great shots
Anyway the Z5P was a great great dissapointment to me that I sold it off in just 3 weeks usage

To be fair, the picture quality across sammy's lineup last year (S6/Edge, Note 5 and Edge+) is pretty impressive.
They share the same optics anyways so that's all good.
Have yet to compared it to another phone though.

what i like in z5 is the time to focus are faster than note 5 and the video stabilization tech they used are much better than note 5 with ois, note 5 video capturing tend to be more shaky than z5 that does not have an ois
perhaps sony are still not well enough on their software to enhance the image after captured although they have the best sensors
