No Always on display feature for us.

Samsung confirmed yesterday that the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge features an Always On display. The features allows the device to show ambient information on what would otherwise be a black screen when the display is turned off. The Always On display is capable of displaying a clock, calendar or even a background image. It also supports theming so third-party themes from the Themes store will be able to change the look and feel of this feature.

In the past, Samsung has brought over some of the features it has introduced with new flagships to the predecessors, but don’t keep your fingers crossed for this particular feature. Always On display feature is not going to be released for existing Galaxy handsets, not even last year’s flagships, so if you’d like to use this feature you have to pick up the Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 edge

How many phone u can change.normally my phone i will use at least 1 year

at least 2 or 3 year... major jump worth it...
s3 to note 5 was worth it...

Since note 5 almost perfect and did not bring much problem to me,then I might be skip note 6 and note 7..unless this two model got significant improvement in battery life then I will consider upgrade..for me, the weak spot of note 5 is battery life and other parts is near to perfect.next phone will still be samsung,dunno why I cannot masuk with other flagship smartphone(iphone 6s plus, nexus 6p, htc one m9, lg g4)..I have played with this two smartphone b4, iphone 6s plus and htc one m9 and still I prefer user interface of samsung.iphone interface is neat and tidy, but I cannot put note on the screen wallpaper.btw, it is individual preferences..if samsung can produce, fast charging phone with long lasting battery, then it will become heaven. 

Correction. Only androids on Samsung and the rest of the OEMs don't update crap. Look at the Nexus 5 this is its 3rd year and it's still supported with Android 6.0 that's 3 generations of Android revolution since it's KitKat launch. 4 generations officially or unofficially by CM. Sure the 4S has 4 generation upgrades to date. But Apple is the only one distributing iOS. Android has tons of mediums. It's just up to OEM willing to upgrade their software or not.

Yup. Given the high specs with powerful features of phones these days. It won't become obsolete even if you change phone every 3 yrs.

For me, I change it every 2.5 yrs cycle.

Sigh. I really want to get the Note 5. But this issue is seriously pissing me off. I was using the Note 3 the entire day today, took it out of storage and decided to use it for a day. Sure it was laggy but I find the S Pen quite intuitive. Sigh.

I already tried everything but in the end whatever i do i still got 5 & 1/2 hrs SOT average, no matter what i do, i will get that SOT at the end of the day. One thing i notice tho is that note5 does not have good standby time, i notice our note5 battery perform their best when we use them regularly, the more hours u spend on it in 1 day, the more SOT u will get, the lesser time u spend on the phone, u will end up getting 5 hrs SOT maybe less depending on your standby time. This is from my observation la. 

TLDR; the more frequent u use your phone in a day, the higher SOT u will get. 

To me note5 got the best battery life among all phones ive ever used. No matter how heavy my usage is, it still can last me till end of the day, it differs from my 6 plus previously where the standby time is really superb whenever im not using the phone, but when i use it, battery drain significantly faster than my note5. 

And the best thing about note5 is the fast charging, just 1 hour can get back to 100% battery life. Go makan dinner with family, take shower etc, before bedtime can get full battery life already. 

Slightly smaller display, 20% larger battery, hybrid slot, larger camera sensor and insanely fast focusing speed. Looks like s7e is the clear winner for me. Should I have known this earlier, I would have waited for S7e. S7e sounds like s6e+ successor more than the smaller s6e itself.

Once Note series is out within 6 months S8 get birth.... and the cycle keeping on going.. hahahaha!

Yeah I guess you are right, unlike S series, there's no such thing as Note 5 PLUS or Note 5 ACTIVE. Just Note5 Duos only. Ok next in the list, Note 7! Haha

Hello guys, I've been thinking to get the Note5, but Malaysia officially only has 32GB storage dual SIM option. Do you guys find it to be really small or quite spacious? What's really holding me back is the storage space that's available to the user. Hope to get some insights on this. Thanks!

Too small for me, I came from a Note 4 which had 32GB internal storage and rocked a 64GB microSD card.

However, I am now a dual-phone user, so the limited storage on my Note 5 (currently 14GB free out of 24GB) is supported by the 64GB storage on my iPhone 6.

Note : I don't game or store movies on my phones.

well, ive owned 3 s6 edge which was sapphire black. didnt look blue to me, or maybe i am colour blind. but again, clearly stated sapphire black on the box
