But maybe someone can enlighten me on a method or a website to search public traded companies based on industry? Heard alot about semiconductors and wanna check out the stock performance of a company, but I dont even know one. Maybe like a filtered search based on size, industry, etc. Im new and dont know 50% of the names listed on the market.

FBM KLCI fell 0.43% at the midday break today, as regional markets tumbled and local sentiment remained tepid.

At 12.30 p.m., the FBM KLCI was down 7.21 points to 1,663.72.

Losers beat gainers by 460 to 183, while 328 counters traded unchanged. Volume was 796.71 million shares, valued at RM806.28 million.

1625-1630 should be a good spot to dive in and get some.
Not sure if it will happen or not. A lot of bargain hunters also waiting.

Better still, if can go back to 52 weeks low at 1600, everybody will be jittery.
All it takes one last jump...then kaboom-- back down to 1575, last year low.

Based on my reading it seems 2017 will be a superb year for stock market.

Not only you.. a lot of institutional investors+hedge funds also saying that.
That means, something is troubling the economy.

Next year, recession could be in the works unless the current govt once again, step in to juice it up with
more projects and freebies to public to get more votes.
