Same 'make kopi makan' style like last time? you really need to understand why trade if there is no beef in your trade? The market risk is always there. Why risk to make little?? Why take out big money to make small? Was your strategy successful the last time? If no, why not change? Trade less, trade bigger, trade longer? ps/ps: why you want to talk dividend payout to me? Since when I was ever, ever a dividend freak? ps/ps/ps: current market environment.... is tough. Not easy to cari maken.... stock selection is extremely critical, much more than ever. and please mind the sifu shit. Sifu all die one. |

QUOTE(Brico @ Sep 7 2016, 01:42 PM) Hi , I am glad to see some familiar faces here. I need some understanding on Bursa terms. It is regarding the dividend declaration by Century. Whats the difference between Ex-date and Entitlement date &Time. The company share registrar will identify the dividend entitled shareholder on 8 Sep.Single Tier Cash Dividend 1.5 Sen 23 Aug 2016, 07:00 Entitlement Amt (RM/%) RM 0.015 Entitlement Date & Time 8 Sep 2016, 17:00 Year/Period Ending/Ended on 31 Dec 2016 Ex-Date 6 Sep 2016 Payment Date 22 Sep 2016 Entitlement Description Single Tier Cash Dividend of 1.5 sen per share Hence it is called entitlement date. Before due to the fact that whenever you hit the buy button in the market, the share is not immediately going into your CDS on that day, it will after about 2 days. So one needs to buy the share before 6 Sep, in order the share being transferred into your CDS (where the company registrar identify the shareholders). Hence the ex-date is set. In nutshell, just buy before 6 Sept (buy on 6 won't entitle) if want the dividend. or can sell on 6 Sept, and still entitle the dividend. Forget about the entitlement date. |

Major shareholders of Century sold 31%+ to new shareholder @ 1.45 each
Any gap up potential to 1.40 level since the last done price was 1.04? |

QUOTE(wil-i-am @ Sep 8 2016, 02:15 PM) Major shareholders of Century sold 31%+ to new shareholder @ 1.45 each Another good example to keep for those who wants to be a better trader.Any gap up potential to 1.40 level since the last done price was 1.04? oh the key issue was.... Should a stock move higher to match the premium of the disposal price versus the traded price? |
