he'll most probably say "stocks are not screaming 'buy' yet" ... US super overvalued while EU is overvalued ... there's good opportunity in China ... wait for KLCI below 1,000 ...

some say he is the Warren Buffet of M'sia..
i think he is more like the 'Marc Faber' of M'sia.. bear bear bear bear since DJ 10k until today DJ 17k still bear... laugh.gif

KLCI below 1000?
Wah, such a big call.
KLCI now at 1600, PER is about in mid teen number, dividend yield is about 2~3%, what is the basic to call it to drop below 1000.

I taught Warren Buffett is always bullish about equities market one, if not mistaken I never came across WB made any bearish call one, even during 2008 financial crisis.

Good opportunity in China?
Asked those had invested in China stocks or China related unit trust one over the last few years. whistling.gif

hahaha... laugh.gif laugh.gif

this video is uploaded on 13th Sept 2015 so i assume the interview is close to the date...
in the video he said "no screaming buy yet..." and KLCI that time is much more bearish and lower than today.... sweat.gif sweat.gif

but nevertheless, there are many valuable lessons that he taught... especially in terms of assessing/managing risks & rewards... notworthy.gif notworthy.gif
as for mkt timing... better judge for your own... whistling.gif

haha.. Cherroy sifu nailed it... WB is like a permabull, especially with US mkt... nvr been a bear sweat.gif

imho, Tan will only openly make buy calls during big crisis like Asian FCrisis 97/98, US Subprime Crisis 08/09....
but problem is.. during that time, ikan bilis like me will likely be in hysteria, in shock and don't know when is the bottom... laugh.gif

lol truthfully, started accumulating some warrants(for short term speculation). But now seem to be having problems offloading, haha. Some of it is almost nearing maturity.

Hopefully market settles soon and start to think more on the stock fundamentals and not so much on the market sentiment e.g. brexit / 1mdb / etc..

lol yeah dun preach me, I know I am naive to think market is sensible all the time, haha

The two-month long foreign selling episode approached its end last week, and the net amount sold by foreign investors tapered down to a negligible RM1.4 million last week from RM134.4 million the week prior, according to MIDF Research.

“We note that foreigners have actually started buying on Bursa during the second half of the week ? they were net buyers on Wednesday through Friday.

What does this mean?

"The central bank said on Tuesday that the reserves were 1.2 times the short term external debt."

Good/bad? Seems pretty low to me, lol

For companies which are suspended due to failure to furnish audited accounts,
how long does it usually take for shares to be un-suspended?

Say, subsequently after the suspension, the companies have furnished all the necessary.
