Uncle end of OCT is the last glory day of gloves.. ever since pfizer came out news regarding vaccine, I already knew gloves gonna end.. hence I already cutloss RM20,000.. if I were to hold till today, I think I'll incur Rm50,000 loss..

With cut loss RM20,000, I've gotten back RM10,000 from semicons in bursa and RM4,000 from US tech market.. RM6,000 more to breakeven for Christmas..

Eh? When did I say that I have a RM100K portfolio? JK only. 

On a serious note, there is no magic formula. Keep it simple.

1.  Read personal finance or investment books. Over the past 20 years, I must have read about 300 to 350 personal finance or investment books. And I am still reading them.

2.  Invest in yourself. You are the best stock in this whole wide world with limitless EPS, PAT, etc. If there are any professional courses that can enhance your career path, take them! Whether it is a certificate, diploma, degree or master course. Depending on where you are in your career path now.

3.  Save at least 10% of your take home pay. The more the better. Without savings and without any emergency fund, there is no money to invest. Simple. As you grow older, the savings rate percentage should go up.

4.  Live within your means. If you can afford a Honda Civic, drive a Honda City instead. If you can afford a RM1 million house, buy a RM800K house instead. Always have a buffer zone.

5.  Don't carry any bad debts. This means credit card debts, personal loan debts, etc. The interest will kill you. Housing loan is OK.

6.  Diversify into different investment plans. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

7.  If you can afford it, buy a landed property. Even if it is a small one. I bought my first house for RM220K. 10 years later I sold it for about RM540K. Renting only enriches the landlord.

See? I told you there is no magic bullet.

Ah, ok. Personally, I dun quite dare to play much in tech stock, as I am not well versed with it. A bit scared. So jcy I am still 50-50 now.

But I am preparing to go in big on 1 tech stock later, hopefully by end of this year I can make it, depending on my cash flow
