QUOTE(AVFAN @ Apr 15 2021, 11:51 PM) FYI... shortie did another 1.259 mil shares or 9% day vol, avg rm9.79. very obvious it could not rise more, unlike the others which shortie did not touch. good news is it closed 10.00 with no SBB, no directors purchase. shortie now 1.37% avg price 10.95 - still in the money. we'll see tmr! also, 12 apr, EPF added 1.2 mil, now 7.582%. https://www.bursamalaysia.com/market_inform...?ann_id=3148322interesting data compiled by ben tan below: shortie now aggressively shorting it. from red turn to green and they decided to kick in. spmx - 1,000,000 units top glove - 620,000 units harta - 204,500 units kossan 402,100 units

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Apr 16 2021, 09:57 AM) thanks for update. looks like shortie is bent on continuing to the max! the pattern i see since jan is they are now becoming exhausted with TG; perhaps not much more they can borrow to short. kossan and harta, they seem to buy buyback and then short again. but from current situation, prices are still on uptrend for now. my records show total 4 gloves, shortie is no longer in the money. incl transaction costs and interest, it's already incurring losses with TG. so, let's hope to see a squeeze soon! guess you are the one and only here having the statistics Update : TG shorts has been increased to 1,346,100 kossan to 1,093,500 harta to 681,400 spmx remains the same hopefully they are suffocated with the uptrend (let's hope its not temporary) and buying power now. probably they have to recycle or come out with some negative news again

QUOTE(jinj @ Apr 16 2021, 10:59 AM) Bro why not 2nd tier? The price increase so much compared to the big 4. As for the big 4, I have a bit of TG. Would spmx be a better buy for faster profit? If tier 1 / big 4 daiko down, tier 2 follow as well. so they just have to focus on the big 4, aka leader of Healthcare indices

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Apr 16 2021, 04:25 PM) kossan's 2mil or 15% is damaging... same with harta... that explains they r so depressed. 2.7 mil for TG is drowned by the other 52 mil... same spmx... bulls win. interesting buildup battles for next week. TG is now 3,169,600. just 10 mins before market closes getting desperate now. so aggressive right after the article was published

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Apr 16 2021, 05:26 PM) 3.2 mil is 5% of total 62mil - can see they r trying to stop the momentum, block it at 5.60. i am curious who r the big buyers today... LWC et al, EPF or some other foreign or local fund. will be most interesting next week! Most probably retailers + local fund in view of spike in number of covid cases. (my views only haha). Right after the unofficial numbers were released, it rebounded.

We shall see. Probably time for some minor zig zag healthy correction before going up again. At least this around its longer than a one day show

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Apr 19 2021, 11:04 AM) ah, 1.7mil... about 10%. good, can buy more if they short more later. its now 2,045,300 for TG. As usual they short it aggressively right after they publish some old recycled news or rather baseless one

QUOTE(Boon3 @ Apr 19 2021, 11:30 AM) Jokes aside, will you be factoring the Tropicana factor? Well, the reasoning is since Tropicana has now shown it's displeasure and its willingness to dispose the portion of Top Glove shares it bought at a loss, what about the 12.425 million of shares it still possesses? Are they gonna dispose more? Or will they hold? See the issue? ... and if Top Glove were to fall... sooner or later, the sector will follow suit......................... do factor in this risk. ..." disposal will also generate working capital for its property development activities that will contribute positive earnings.." but at the same time also to minimize losses. Anyhow this wont bring much impact as people assume Tropicana = Tan Sri/TG. Different sentiment and story if the headline is changed to EPF disposed shares at loss

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Apr 22 2021, 12:11 PM) if one has read such industry and 3rd party independent reports, one would know. only naysayers choose not to read and go with JPM's ulterior motived reports, rinsed and repeated. Well said! If JPM is really confident with RM3.50 they wouldnt need to defend by shorting it from time to time. In fact, each time when the price start to soar high they will start to short aggressively. Trying hard to recycle old news over and over again. Gotto thank Kossan for releasing their QR that defy all naysayers and contradict JPM's "research". And also thank JPM for providing liquidity in glove stocks give 2nd chance to those missed the first wave. I might be wrong tho if its short term uptrend. But lets hope its indeed a reversal trend now. Current shorts Top Glove - 121,000 Harta - 10,700 Spmx and Kossan - Nil This post has been edited by BliitzkrieG: Apr 22 2021, 02:22 PM
