No choice, most likely EPF needs to cash out to standby to pay for i-Sinar RM10k withdrawal. Its okay, take the dividend first. As long as both are green rclxm9.gif

Agree bro. We all profited from glove.

But once their trend is dead, what can we do. No amount of news, QR release, SBB can revive them back. Today covid rising like hell pun cannot revive ady. Ali abu ah chong got insider info on new factories pun too late dy.

Just move on and look at other sector lah haha
*
Trend is right. We cant move like a lone ranger. Need to follow the trend.

Recovery stocks are on the rise as if the whole economic sector is recovering back to pre-covid. It's all due to endless positive news on vaccine.
You and I know that the economy is not good, businesses are on the dip.
IMO, we are not sure how true and efficient these vaccines are. Everyone is just riding on the hype train for now.

In the end, everything will go back to fundamentals, its just a matter of time.

any idea what's driving it up today?

dead cat bounce again?

Probably
1. TG QR tomorrow
2. Vaccine counters down
3. Mercator opening was -3% and rebounded to 4% and closed at green 2%

Anyway, hopefully its not a one day show for glove as usual haha

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Dec 8 2020, 09:35 AM)
TG QR been expected for a long time now.... why suddenly the interest?

Vaccine - menteli says private vaccine operators get no money from budget, need approval too... so, the bintais and yongtais fall, naturally... but gorengers didn't know previously?!

Mercator - up and down too but less severe than ours.
perhaps can add these 2 reasons:

perak gomen crisis over = incr political stability.

vaccine rollout imminent in UK, then USA = billions of gloves required! laugh.gif

whatever... right, let's see if is a one day thing or not. biggrin.gif
*
Previous trend was TG will go up for at least 2-3 consecutive days before QR. This time is just 1 day before QR? Hopefully history doesnt repeat and trend changes. no sell down after QR.

Private vaccine operators know about this, just that its the right time to TP and simple negative news like the one yesterday is good enough to bring it down. market is being very sensitive recently. very volatile.

Maybe ppl start to gain awareness that the pandemic is getting serious and vaccine hype train which also carry along recovery stocks is slowly going down?

Come to think about it, all previous vaccine takes at least 4-5 years to produce it, and this covid-19 vaccine just take less than a year to be produced. Plus all data are kept among themselves and its not shared with public medical field.

We shall see and monitor tomorrow's trend again and then only can prove our analysis haha.

it is true... 6 died... but 4 had placebo; 2 had the vaccine but they say cause of death is not due to vaccine... who really knows what else??

Even if the cause of death is due to vaccine, they will cover it and say the death is due to other complications. Cannot afford to let the negative side of vaccine spread out. Vaccine is all about politics and money. Just my 2 cents hmm.gif

As for gloves, it was due to JP Morgan and vaccine approval for emergency use. Sad day for glove. Still not disciplined enough to cut loss. Still having hope on its fundamental value rclxub.gif

Top Glove director Lim Cheong Guan himself disposed 50k,300k and 320k on 9,10,11 October respectively. Opposing Tan Sri's effort in building a barrier for TG share

So lets see today if those shorted gloves on last Monday bought back today and whether they will short again on coming Monday. Hope not, due to the current lockdown and spike in cases sentiment

Retailers can, there's a minimum amount which is RM200k value worth of stock. Can be registered. But what's the point, lone ranger retailer can't move the price down much with the limited resources, not even uncle Koon 😂

There's currently 1,572,300 units being shorted for TopGlove.

Wonder why they're still trying to short despite the price being increasing now.

To prevent the price from shooting higher? As their current paper loss is already high enough

i think shorted more harta too.

but i believe these new shorts are using some of the buybacks done last week.

and yes, i think it's a desperate attempt to stop the price from going higher too fast.

they need to buy back slowly to minimize the net losses.
*
Yup, currently 178,100 units being shorted for Harta and 1,851,300 for TG. No shorts for Spmx and Kossan

gloves demand in the u.s and e.u is expected to waterfall in q3/21. rss doesn't expire; i.b could afford to wait, short further; the inevitable will occur.

Yeah you can come back on q3/2021 to see if glove demand "waterfalls" by then.

Prefer to wait and pay interest till Q3/2021? Haha your comment made my day.

Hopefully today Harta QR is a strong indicator and to kick start 2021 glove earnings (although it was for 2020)

gloves are inverse of all other stocks.
bad sentiment and news for the country means good for gloves (mco, darurat) and vice versa for recovery stocks. rclxub.gif
