QUOTE(Boon3 @ Nov 30 2021, 09:47 AM) RSS got so many trading limitations.... but most of all... they can short only a max of 5% of total outstanding shares... so can 5% manipulate and win against the rest? share buybacks? That's about 10%... you get a rich CEO... who goes crazy on his shares.... the boss can go amok buying the shares.... |

QUOTE(wayton @ Nov 30 2021, 03:51 PM) Bursa RSS FAQ: This FAQ is outdatedAs per FAQ, RSS can only key in a price that is greater than last traded price. Means that RSS cannot sell low low, but queue and waiting buyer to buy, so RSS is not the reason of selling down the price. Now can key at best offer/sell price only..n limit is now 4%. QUOTE(ChAOoz @ Dec 4 2021, 07:10 PM) Who would have thought you invest in grab, its pretty frothy actually even for nasdaq standard if compare to likes of faang or maang. I'm seeing much less food delivery at my condo. No p/e, basically sales to price only and super high burn rate of close to 1bil USD per quarter over 150m revenue. Dont be fool by their sales figure which is using gmv instead of their real top line. I also doubt that grab taxis will recover to pre-covid levels anytime soon. So what will be driving up their revenue? |

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Dec 7 2021, 07:49 PM) Maybe after Serba threatened to sue The Edge, they intentionally made another article even when there is nothing new. Serba as a listco is required to announce the suit by Bursa.https://www.bursamalaysia.com/market_inform...?ann_id=3214797 But Bursa is also a listco right? Where is Bursa announcement when it was sued by Serba? |

QUOTE(ChAOoz @ Dec 26 2021, 11:26 AM) Tricky year. Started 2021 with portfolio overweight "recovery n inflation play". This was not wrong but Delta n later Omicron meant that results were not fully up to expectations.Biggest allocation: STi (Singapore) with 9+% total returns YTD. |

QUOTE(ChAOoz @ Dec 26 2021, 12:26 PM) Bursa and other equities like S&P 500 did well, but china hit me hard, so total portfolio value actually gone down by around -4%++ compare to last year closing I double down on China large tech just before Christmas....Now that portfolio is down "just" 5%.By next year start im gonna allocate another 10% of total portfolio to continue buying china tech all the way till CNY. This round just on hkex, still betting big on possible hk stock connect for alibaba and end of regulatory crackdown for the rest. This post has been edited by Cubalagi: Dec 26 2021, 01:06 PM |

QUOTE(Boon3 @ Dec 30 2021, 09:43 AM) It was such a dead giveaway... the issues that KPMG highlighted was unreal. Baffling. Did Serba expect an auditor like KPMG to not notice those glaring comical issues? And then the intital answers replied, that was comical too.,,, They have been auditors since IPO. Is it only this year they noticed? |

QUOTE(Davidtcf @ Dec 31 2021, 12:55 AM) What is the difference compare to previous rates? Seems like got some changes by MoF: Stamp duty will increase to 0.15% as tabled in budget 2022.https://www.thestar.com.my/business/busines...apped-at-rm1000 The difference is now they introduce a cap of RM1000. This provides some relief to insti investors. RM1000 is still much higher than previous cap of RM200, but better than no cap at all. |

QUOTE(Boon3 @ Jan 4 2022, 12:49 PM) Yes, we will get a more clearer answer come next quarter but here's why this is a MASSIVE concern right now..... KPMG is their auditor, surely KPMG will highlight if there are any concerns.. 😂1. The stock was below 2.00 early last year. Today it's only > 40.00. The ultra small number of shares in this stock made it easier to rocket. So this stock has basically gone up heck a lot. 2. There was a placement of shares worth 17 million, priced around 3.xx ... and there was a bunch of ESOS exercised under 1.40. So there are a bunch of big players holding the stock with ultra cheap prices. If anything go wrong (like stock correct 20% or more), they can dispose without any remorse and they will still make tons of money. So if one is late into this party, best one understand where one stand.... and with a 12 for 1 bonus issue... big players have every single reason to take profit..... 3. Despite the booming profits, we have already seen 2 quarters of booming profits with receivables ballooning and cash flow negative (yup despite a 17 million placement of shares and increase of debts). Wait another quarter? Should one take such a risk for confirmation? 4. Profits soared because of the EV sector. So said Genetec itself. In such a sector, why is the receivables ballooning for 2 quarters already? personally I cannot fathom why. It's a manufacturer? Unheard of a manufacturer to supply goods with such long credit days.... That's my thoughts... and if I have the stock, I would take the 'be safe rather than be sorry' approach anytime... not worth the risk waiting for another quarter of confirmation... but yeah, these are all my random thoughts... which I could be wrong of course. now if I don't have the stock... I definitely will not touch it. |
