2020 results.. No suprise there.

WTI average was USD38 last year. Look where is it now.

My take, Malaysia shortselling regulations very pandan..

RSS 4% net short limit is too low.. US can exceed 100%. Bursa need to up to 15% at least.

RSS seller not allowed to hit best buy order, have to wait sell q. Not fair to shortseller. Also it delay price discovery. Need to be same treatment as long trade.

Foreign investor leaving the country. That has been the trend for a few years already. No worry for bursa, coz now got many retailer. If retailer falls, then, Houston we have a problem.

Many years? It was close to RM1. 90 in August 2019. That's not even 2 years.

As for catalyst. Simple, covid must be under control.

What is your definition of DCA?

If DCA means investing the same amount at fixed intervals (usually monthly) over a long period of time, then my answer is NO.

However, In my case, I will have a target of how much I want to buy the stock. If it's big, I may then split the buys in a few batches, and execute over a period of time. I do not consider this DCA because the time period is limited.

If I like the stock a lot, I may also add more in future, if I have extra funds. I do not consider this DCA also. This is just investig when you have extra cash.

N yes, I also avoid high transactions costs.

My view is that every time I buy a stock, it has to be a carefully considered decision.

DCA sounds like buying mindlessly, with the research done only at beginning stage. This sound dangerous to me.

Rising interest is good for bank stocks..

So u r shorting 20-year US Treasuries, the Dow and US Small Caps. The first one means u think inflation is going much higher, the last two indicate u don't believe in the covid recovery.

N u said u bought before Feb. How long do u plan to hold these shorts?
