Hi guys, I'm new to trading and want to ask about the transaction cost. I'm using Kentrade, so the Brokerage is 0.60%; Clearing Fee 0.03%; Stamp Duty RM1 for every RM1,000; and SST 6% on brokerage and clearing fee.

Lets say I'm planning to buy a stock at RM0.155 at 10,000 units, the platform shows the Transaction Cost as RM44.87 but based on my calculation the Transaction Cost should be at RM12.35. Can anyone enlighten me on how Kentrade calculates their transaction cost?

That's normal retailers sentiment I guess. When price high:
- regret didn't buy when it crash
- keep asking everyone 'still can buy ah?'
- set a price target to buy when it drop, but when it reach the target, dun dare to buy or hope for lower price
- make a vow must buy during next crash

When crash happen:
- dun dare to buy
- this is the real crash, cos it looks different from previous crash
- hope to buy at lowest price
- when rebound, this is dead cat bounce. When high enough, repeat the cycle from step 1.

Rinse and repeat every cycle

Actually, a lot of us cant see the outlook in 2023 too. This is why we quote the analysts' forecasts, which might underestimate Topglov's NP. Just follow what you think that is best  :thumbsup:
