I average down many times, if I believe in the fundamentals.

And sometimes good fundamental stocks also kena goreng. It's pretty nice if you are already positioned early. In that case, if possible, I average up a bit but then depending on how far the goreng goes, I will take some or even all money off the table for that counter. Wait for the goreng to end, then reenter.

Can see from how horrible car sales were in April. Only 141 cars sold in the whole country, when usually numbers are 20k, 30k per month.

But I think Govt will announce a 3rd stimulus package anytime soon, to spur this economy. This time target is for industries (unlike the earlier one, money for rakyat). So perhaps expecting some goodies like removal of RPGT.

Yes you can sell it immediately

The actual cash proceeds from selling will always be at T+2. This is the money you can actually withdraw from the broker and buy the iPhone...

However, your trading limit is adjusted immediately after selling. It doesn't wait for the cash proceeds to come in. So you can buy another stock immediately.

This is how a stock exchange works. Basically, bursa malaysia guarantees the selling broker that the money will come by T+2. This is why the selling broker is willing to adjust your trading limit immediately. For this service, Bursa Malaysia charges a clearing fee of 3 bps.

Next meeting is 7 July 2020. This is when any interest rate change will be announced.

Sold Mah Sing at 0.59-0.60. Stock went up but went down as stimulus was announced:

The stimulus package only so so for property development. HOC extended but RPGT waiver only until next year.. Not so good for new development right? That will only incemtivice people to sell old properties, not to buy new ones.

Autos got better deal. Sales Tax waiver. DRB, Bauto n Sime went up a lot today.

Look at the regional markets.. All very red now.

At 4.45pm, the closing auction starts. Trades can be input, but none will be matched. At 4.50pm, price will be matched at the auction price and then will not change until 5pm.

It's the price where the most buy and sell orders are matched.

Just to add that the reason the auction is there is to minimize closing price manipulation. Closing price is a very important price for the market. If there is no auction, then one party can put in a small buy order and use a proxy to put in a sell at high (or low) price right at the very end 4.59pm to manipulate the cloaing price. With the auction, you are now in competition with much more orders from different investors. And after the auction, the auction price is the only price you can trade between 4.50-5pm.

Anyone, it's the price that matches the most buy and sell orders.

Why ppl so scared of short selling? Short selling is good for the market. It helps minimize market bubbles and reduce extent of market crashes.

And short selling is not an easy trading style to do.
