exactly, the whole bitfinex and usdt fiasco is really making the whole crypto community a shady place. i do own cryptos and i hope for the best for the concept but dang, all these prints of usdt out of no where with backing from 'cash and equivalent stuffs'


shorting is really volatile for cryptos, many got squeezed recently and same for the calls furing last run in apr. and whales are super manipulative, talk about decentralization when whales own most of the coins out there

and with all those gods out there tweet once in awhile, it's really not doing that well for the community (saylor, musk, even burry, although recently deleted everything)

if die die want to, there are many exchanges and just find a really cheap crypto to transfer from wallet to wallet, at most you lose some because of the various price in exchange

i wouldnt say it's a totally meaningless tech, but we do need time to look at the real world usage of blockchain, especially smart contracts. NFTS, albeit the highly speculative phenomena across the board, it does prove ownership in the chain and more shall come in the future especially when the physical and digital boundaries become less distinctive

for all the other altcoins, rugpull is super common.
