Trading platform for the investment bank actually is fine, as other overseas stocks are still blinking.

The driving force behind gloves stocks surge is higher or explosive profit, due to brisk sales and higher ASP.
Bonus issue or not doesn't affect company profit. |

QUOTE(ZeroSOFInfinity @ Jul 20 2020, 03:53 PM) Bursa is also listed company, every trade in the stock exchange needs to pay the clearing fee to KLSE or Bursa. When Bursa earns good profit, investors may get fat dividend as well. |

QUOTE(lowya @ Jul 24 2020, 03:33 PM) The exercise price is RM25.Warrant conversion ratio is 15:1. At Rm0.50 x 15 = Rm7.50. So if buy at RM0.50 and hold until maturity, then mothershare needs to be below RM17.50 by Mar 21. HereToLearn liked this post

QUOTE(prozfromhell @ Jul 28 2020, 09:39 AM) my ytl reits really defies the logic of defensive stock Hospitality business suffers due to lockdown and travel restriction. but my IGB Reit consider survived the March 2020 selldown lor My cost was 1.89, at least ytd was 1.84. Consider very good d. anyway, no choice but to do long term ba. haha Malls business afffected by Covid effect. Business environment can change due to situation. Defensive doesn't means armour proof. The Covid effect is totally unprecedented event. But if situation back to normal and economy back on track, then those defensive stocks likely to recover fast. |

QUOTE(lowya @ Jul 31 2020, 07:38 AM) Revaluation loss and foreign exchange loss are the primary reason of the loss, which are unreliased item. Just like your purchased property now drop in value but it is unrealised event, it doesn't affect your current situation nor cash position. And it has Australia hotels (which is valued at AUD) and exposure to AUD borrowing, whenever there is a change of Aud vs Rm, then you will see the foreign exchange gain/loss. The Q result from Jan-Mar, it has unrealised foreign exchange of +60 mil, now due to big change in Aud recently, then it becomes loss. You will see this from time to time whenever there is big movement in forex difference. The reit still generally income of 27 mil for the Q, and able to give distribution of 2.83 cents of for half year. It has master lease for its Malaysia and Japan hotels, while Australia hotels are under management contract. Master lease one still provide steady income, the most affected one is Australia hotels that is under management contract. |

QUOTE(Xcal @ Aug 7 2020, 09:17 AM) All these are goreng stocks? Feels weird Poh Kong for example the value tripled, but gold price didn't even triple. Furthermore they sell gold with some profit right, but it's not like they have a lot of gold bought at cheap price last time to be released to market now? They would still need to buy new stock at current price, No? Their existing inventory will see a rise in profit, which is one off, as you can sell at higher price while those old stocks was bought lower price. While newer supply of gold needs to buy at higher price already. The situation is different than glove. |

QUOTE(Xcal @ Aug 7 2020, 09:42 AM) Retailers frenzy is high now. Glove run has some solid fundamental backing, even though they may overshooting. But some penny stocks have no strong fundamental nor solid profit rise backing fact, also can up 200%, 400%. Yesterday stat, retailers pouring in another 200 mil again. HereToLearn liked this post
