the net shorts are still incr for TG and spmx but reducing for kossan.

I'm still holding spx and its over 10k loss as at ytd haha...... but today pump back to below 10k loss liao... dunno want happy or cry lol...

But yea, if today can close at current price or higher, tomorrow hopefully should continue green.....Based on the chart if rebound, the range should be at around RM 5.6-5.8 and if reach there, i prepare to cut loss if the rebound is gone case....

i mean big buys yesterday... today looks same.

Yesterday, in my portfolio:

1. HLT closed at -8.03%
2. Ruberex closed at -9.53%.

Eye watering high four figure unrealized loss because I put in a respectable sum.  

Today, both stocks surged up more than +20%. I managed to sell:

1. HLT at around +6.4%
2. Ruberex at around +3.5%.

Four figure realised gain for 2 days' work. 

Some might say, so little gain only what. Why so happy? But compared to the unrealised losses yesterday, I say don’t be greedy and be happy with what we have!

I have the view that you are right. Sometimes the saying "FA is useless in Bursa" is done tongue in cheek, which is fine. But some folks seem to really believe it now, seems a red position can do wonders in converting followers to a cause. This affects mostly newer people in the pond, but some oldies may not be spared.

Almost everyone claims to be an investor but is actually a trader. Not by any deception on their part, but by a lack of understanding of the terms.
Most claim to do their FA, but then measure the results based on a short term trading timescale instead of an investor timescale. The surest sign to self check is to see when you buy a stock, it drops a week after and you feel jumpy. Price drops lower for 3 months and you feel "trapped". That's trading.

If your FA is done right and hoping you covered most scenarios, as an investor the thought at the back of your head will be "It'll come back".
But truth be told, investing is probably suited to the minority. As Warren once said, nobody wants to get rich slow. And a lot will be uncomfortable sitting in red.
