QUOTE(AVFAN @ Mar 3 2021, 11:25 AM) quite negative, so be it. everyday is bargain hunting. The question is what is the price that you want to achieve for averaging down and the plan for it.i see bargain hunting since yesterday but did not close green. see what happens this afternoon. the net shorts are still incr for TG and spmx but reducing for kossan. averaging down to get more share quantity is much more difficult to do compare to buy into uptrend because you are fighting with smart money to collect bargain chips. check around, is those hardcore glove supporters have turned bearish? if yes, then we entering into despair stage, which is the last stage. |

QUOTE(Rinth @ Mar 3 2021, 12:03 PM) I'm still holding spx and its over 10k loss as at ytd haha...... but today pump back to below 10k loss liao... dunno want happy or cry lol... if you keep focus on the "loss", your emotion will get affected in your exercise. But yea, if today can close at current price or higher, tomorrow hopefully should continue green.....Based on the chart if rebound, the range should be at around RM 5.6-5.8 and if reach there, i prepare to cut loss if the rebound is gone case.... QUOTE(AVFAN @ Mar 3 2021, 12:09 PM) i mean big buys yesterday... today looks same. the TG group still got 40k++ people inside. yeah, i think we r at the last stage... many have already dumped! |

QUOTE(pinksapphire @ Mar 3 2021, 12:15 PM) hmm.. you make up your mind to sell...nvm, this is a priceless lesson that can guide you into the future investing. if investing, don't chase high, because when you are in paper loss, without experience, you will easily cut when the price breakeven and miss out the whole "uptrend" because that is just the starting point of a surge. This is human behavior. Everyone who is new has to go through it. if trading, be discipline with your risk management before start looking into how much you can potentially profit. Protect capital is the utmost importance before talk about profit. The risk-reward ratio is very important. If you chase too high without a base nearby, your cut loss setup is very far and risky. good luck. |

QUOTE(pinksapphire @ Mar 3 2021, 12:52 PM) Thanks, skty...for sure, learnt alot and although damn pain, but taking it strongly for now. based on what I see, this surge is to shake out the remaining weak holders that are waiting rebound to cut loss.Today I see second liners risen alot, keep selling, don't wanna care if I goes even higher because gloves are too erratic. Don't wanna deal with stocks that give restless nights. and then the counter will go quiet for few days. Then start accelerate slowly toward the direction. the fund managers still have few months left to hit their KPI before the election come. from today overall market sentiment, I can sense the penny stock sentiment started to fade. most of the portfolio adjustment almost complete. let's see what's next. QUOTE(skty @ Mar 2 2021, 08:01 PM) got crystal ball? hello guys.if that happen, those who are holding it, given a chance to rebound, would you consider to sell it (trading) or continue to hold it (invest)? if you want to invest but holding at high price, would you consider to sell it (at premium) and buy it back later (at undervalued)? this is what you have to think of. please have a plan what you want to do. |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Mar 3 2021, 03:34 PM) what are our local institutions doing? see the queue, no big road block at all for them to push. it's so surprising to see those operator push a multi billion market cap companies so easily.dumping and dumping bursa... to buy overseas stocks and properties?! look like weak holders are mostly gone. big washing machine since October until now. Most cannot tahan to see deep red in portfolio, started to lose trust in fundamental. Even uncle KYY also give up say TA > FA. |

When they come back, things will get exciting QUOTE(skty @ Dec 9 2020, 03:01 PM) better than what I expected. I will guess that they coming in for the yield.but I saw TS already open the tide, announce 6% additional on top on the dividend policy. Pension funds around the world might be flowing in. this risk and dividend rate is so much better than they playing with CDS and IRS. |

QUOTE(Vanguard 2015 @ Mar 3 2021, 05:05 PM) And the market is closed. Somebody upstairs likes me. Yesterday, in my portfolio: 1. HLT closed at -8.03% 2. Ruberex closed at -9.53%. Eye watering high four figure unrealized loss because I put in a respectable sum. Today, both stocks surged up more than +20%. I managed to sell: 1. HLT at around +6.4% 2. Ruberex at around +3.5%. Four figure realised gain for 2 days' work. Some might say, so little gain only what. Why so happy? But compared to the unrealised losses yesterday, I say don’t be greedy and be happy with what we have! bukan simply hantam average down. eh wrong. you not average down. You playing rebound. I will like to share an article that I am completely agree with and I think many people here don’t know what it takes for investing.
Many claim that FA is useless in Bursa, many claim they invest in glove fundamental, but the fact is they have no idea what is FA at all and they are not investing, but they are trading. Well, if you invest in “FA” that is well known by public already, do you think there will be any price surge potential? If you invest in “FA”, why do you buy a stock at premium price? If you say you know about “FA”, why are you shaking your leg when price collapse? You should be more happy! https://www.tradeview.my/2021/03/tradeview-...s-take.html?m=1 I still remember in 2020 when this author mention glove counters will become dividend yield counters in 2021, many people here laughed at him. Pls take time to read. My 2 cent. |

wow. I thought gloves going to go quiet for few days after yesterday washing.
but seem the support keep coming. QUOTE(statikinetic @ Mar 4 2021, 08:37 AM) Thank you for the link. I have the view that you are right. Sometimes the saying "FA is useless in Bursa" is done tongue in cheek, which is fine. But some folks seem to really believe it now, seems a red position can do wonders in converting followers to a cause. This affects mostly newer people in the pond, but some oldies may not be spared. Almost everyone claims to be an investor but is actually a trader. Not by any deception on their part, but by a lack of understanding of the terms. Most claim to do their FA, but then measure the results based on a short term trading timescale instead of an investor timescale. The surest sign to self check is to see when you buy a stock, it drops a week after and you feel jumpy. Price drops lower for 3 months and you feel "trapped". That's trading. If your FA is done right and hoping you covered most scenarios, as an investor the thought at the back of your head will be "It'll come back". But truth be told, investing is probably suited to the minority. As Warren once said, nobody wants to get rich slow. And a lot will be uncomfortable sitting in red. |
