Hi guys. I want to Ask why got bursa stock? U can buy the Malaysia stock market? Like that sure win la haha

Sorry newbie here if question sounds stupid. Cos I thought stocks are companies.

Bursa Malaysia Bhd is the company licensed by the government to operate the stock market.

And, yes, you can indeed buy the 'Bursa' stock.

Then how does this company make money or grow? Or lose money. Maybe cannot lose money 1 haha.

Make money from traders like you all la... u all have to pay 0.03% transaction fees for each time you buy and sell. Also they licensed out all the stock data/info to all the brokers as well.

So far they don't have a money losing year.. yet.

But the shares are not cheap yo.

Study the fundamentals first before you commit buying... like I say, it is an expensive stock.

The performance is not linked to index, but link to amount of trades done on KLSE. The more people trade, the higher the income. The less people trade, the less the income.

If mother share too expensive, maybe grab the warrants?

Expensive but good stock is ok right? Nobody will reject a good stock.

Pay more tuition fee then you will learn

beside collect the clearing fees from stock..
as well as derivative
as well as fines getting from director,company,broking firm and remeiser who committed offense
as well as fees from new company who want to listing
etc etc etc

I'm looking at umw share how come the data so weird all negative and cannot make sense 1? Like the figure is jump everywhere.

No problem on my side, everything looks ok.

Basically UMW has stopped divvy for the mean time since they are having losses.

What cause the loss? Like very major

LOL! You are the one doing the research... you should know the company inside out before you invest. Not just look at numbers.

Why don't you try check around first and try to answer it first, before we tell you the answer.
