anyway leicester is like suarez-leading-lfc-to-2nd-and-not-br season.
also like that lfc season - no europe, early exit from league cup and fa cup.
my money is they will finish 2nd, then vardy will be sold to barca and ranieri will get sacked later on tongue.gif

Somehow, he's not la liga material. Just hope don't end up like carroll

Vardy & riyad mahnez are a revelation
The have speed and work very well on the counter
Will have to see if the can score as many when it's against crowded (bus park) teams.

Not many goalkeeper could save that shot, but perhaps mignolet positioning allowed or gave vardy the impetus to have the audacity to attempt that smallest opportune

Thought our midfield was worse. Even if Leicester didn't score we wouldn't have won because we can't create jackshit.

"I'm not too fine with our game today. We could have played much better. We had a few shots where we could pass and a few passes where we could shoot. We created half-chances but not real chances." - Klopp

This quote summed up the game for me. How Can is getting game time ahead of Allen is beyond me. Lucas, Moreno, Firmino, Hendo, Sakho were all shit.

I really like the moment when a cross came in but only Allen is in the box to heading the ball doh.gif

Klopp should slap Can should he attempt to dribble in the next game

Vardy: "Mignolet had been off his line a lot so when it came to me & I had no support, I hit it and took my chance"

Jamie Vardy scored a wonderful goal against Liverpool tonight and says he knew Simon Mignolet would be off his line for his first.

To be honest with you I was looking all game and he was quite far off his line, so as soon as Riyad's played it through and it's bounced quite high and I've got no support, I've just took my chance and luckily its gone over the top of him," Vardy told Sky Sports.

Maybe mignolet is good enough for his previous team, in the likes of a fallen giant who aspire to go back to the top, I'm not sure mignolet should be the one behind the post. It's harsh sentiment I know.

We fuk up big time letting Reina go because someone believed Mig was better. Mig was always a good understudy but his time as no 1 at Liverpool was premature.

The moment I watched the moment before vardy struck for goal, I knew Mig was in no man's land and it gave vardy the impetus.

Positioning for goal keeper separates the great one from the good ones.

Every coach has his own favorite son.

In Klopp, Can may well be the chosen one.

Mig may be at some fault for positioning, but at that time Vardy was still way out from the penalty box, no way GK position at six yard box at that time.
As if Vardy beat Lovren 1 v 1, and Mig position too near the goal, and didn't come out to clear out the ball, then people will blame his positioning again.

Even if Mig positioning was not the best, it is still a wonder strike, you cannot blame GK much for conceding such a goal in this kind of situation.

As said many time, Mig may not world class type of GK like Neuer or Buffon or even Cech, but blame this defeat on GK is unjustified.
What about 2 superb save on first half that keep the scoreline 0-0? If Bogdan or other GK, may already 2-0 by half time already.

The team is not good enough in defence, particularly LB area, and offensive wise, nobody seems able to shoot as well.
How to win matches when you have problem in defending, and unable to score? Even have "spider web" like GK also the team can't win matches.

The current team main problem is not GK.

Thought we were extremely energetic. It was our constant pressing that gave us the over 60% possession despite the sloppy passing throughout from both sides. Problem is we are absolutely clueless in the final third. Blind crosses, blocked crosses, misplaced passes, running the ball into defenders, long shots, blocked shots...you name it...I don't recall us even creating a proper chance for a shot at goal.

I can't describe it better. The players really clueless in the final third. I hope klopp finds a way to resolve this curse.

For Vardy's stunner, i dun blame the GK. Lovren should have attacked the ball more aggressively / apply more pressure.

Moreno is the worst liability right now

not clueless.
just lacking confidence.
plus i think the crossbars at melwood must be at least 3-storeys high...zzz.

LFC had just as many shots, just that LFC and the whole kitchen sink all trying to shoot...like they say too many cooks blah blah.
so klopp really needs to adjust his tactics...instead of trying to get everyone and his mother on the score sheet.
