How is the customer base in JB?

mostly local or foreigners?

Last week 31++ hrs inclusive daily on the way to work & going home (destination trip) but not picking up anyone.
Trying luck see anyone help to pay tolls or not...

Guys.....what is your experience and frequency that rider did not pay full fare, especially those with sens??

On average, I got 2-5 riders who did that daily, and I lost out about RM3-5.

Usually, I tried to explain to rider that either pay me exact fare, or I will return the change to the nearest RM, after roundup, if I do not have sen with me. But, these riders usually behave in very uncivilsed manners, theathen you, slam the car door loud and ran off....

Been trying to write to Uber on this....their reply is "Uber cannot take responsibility for cash trips and the associated fares. As mentioned during onboarding sessions or cash online training, when accepting a trip, you’ll need to note whether it’s a cash trip and ensure you collect your fare at the end." i.e. no compensation at the end

I am getting more and more pissed off with UberMY behaviour of "washing off their hand" for the problem they created by introducing cash fare! When I propose why don't allowed driver to choose only accept card ride option, told cannot. But, then, with this cash ride, it add in additional cost to driver to subsidized already cheaper than taxi ride.     

This is odd - how does Uber knows you work for Grab too?

By the way, don't compromise bully by big boys. Every one should stand firm on their rights. Don't used to be Malaysian. Even part of Malaysian is going to bersih rally too.

You'd get more trip requests, as well as higher demand directly correlates with higher fares and higher partner earnings.

As for PHG, it all worthless, not really incentive per say....it just guarantee you certain amount of fare with so much term and condition, which actually, does not mean anything....so, do not so fret up with that chasing for it....it don't really worth it...

Here is the reason

Rule #1 - 50% of the ride must be based in CSA
Lucky u if your base location is in CSA, else, you need to be there 50% of time.
But, then, even if your base is in CSA, you will never able to predict the rider destination
If the destination is in same CSA, ie nearby, then, most probably your fare will be lowered than the guaranteed amount, you will be paid for that
If destination outside the area, then, you need to remember to ensure 50% of your start trip at CSA, i.e. drive to CSA area, even with empty car, which mean either you off the apps (no more PHG already, as your hour online will be lesser) or you do not accept any request coming in (affecting your acceptance rate, which mean may resulted you not qualify for PHG)

Min 1 TPH or 1.25TPH
Well, if you notice, those CSA area usually are those area heavily congested, and to if you really unlucky stuck in jam, the meeting the TPH requirement is gone case
Of course, there are some "blind spot" in CSA that chances you won't get ping, which you hope can sit there and got PHG. But, then, you got to conscious ensure you must have min 1 or 1.25 trip every 1 hour. Which will then added to your stress level

Rule # 4
Tier 1 and Tier 2
To hit Tier 1, you need to have min gross fare of RM500 to qualify. So, it mean, on average, you need to drive for 2-3 days first, full time, to secure that. Part timer? You can forget about it.

So, guys, stop chasing the PHG, it is not incentives, it just a guaranteed amount you will received, only if you meet their strict term and condition. Worth it or not, up to you to decide. For me, I do not think so....I just enjoy the drive, to hell with the PHG, to hell with the whatsover driver rating.....

Uber is not only company, there is Grab also

Your calculation is correct unless he is buying the car for uber black purpose only.
How about the car lying there doing nothing but still need to pay installment? Maybe the CC is family owned & as spare car? The fare which he earned is extra income.
