Like many sifus here said before.. try drive dulu.. you will adapt and know which method suit you best for optimum earning, both part-timer and full timer.

My piece of advise, don't exhaust yourself, trading health and time with love ones with money. Yang single boleh lah go crazy.. Yang dah ade family ngan gf.. not good for relationship..

If you still planning to drive for UBER, pay a visit to UBER greenhub. UBER is much reasonable than GRAB. It could be they just want you to go over and "see" you in person, and so-called "pre-lecture" you why you got suspended.

UberFlash and UberTaxi launch in Malaysia

No wonder I saw "uberFLASH" from a ping received this evening.

So far okay from my side, been driving since noon.

Weird thing I experienced since yesterday was "set destination", I couldn't get even one hit from Rawang to Puchong (around 10pm). Usually can score 2 or 3 tips on the way to destination. Same unlucky today, from Batu Caves to Puchong (around 9pm), kosong! one hit pun tarak! Could be Chinese's July? tarak orang mau keluar malam?

Haven't tried. I'm guessing is to end the ping request faster instead of waiting itself elapsed. I find it annoying to wait it finish.

5 🌟 some more. Who dumb enough to accept the distance and risk?

There are few times I am so curious how the system chose/assign me to rider, picking up rider as far as 3-8km from stationary position. There are a bunch of drivers around me in four corners (I observing from rider app in one phone and driver apps in the other phone).. Seriously, request still coming in and I have no idea how the algorithm works. The only think I can come out is could be my rating.

Just like yesterday, I was driving around in Seri Kembangan, came in a request, 7.4km away located in Puncak Jalil, freaking the other side.. Am I the nearest driver? Hell no. (I can see from rider app there's drivers in Puncak). Am I the fastest to reach? Hell no. It takes 15 mins for me to reach. But the rider so cool sitting at home and wait for me, and I did went to pick her up, destination to Pavilion~~, ladies night) Almost nose bleed.

Walaoeh.. What are they thinking? I am more than welcome for GH trips. You personally call me I also will come, only if you can wait me get to you.

A warn could do some good especially part-timer who just doing a few hours here and there, and to those area-based drivers.

Aye on 1.5x out of KV! If UBER fail to understand the burden and cost of empty-return trip from driver's perspective, then don't expect much profit or successful transaction from interstate trips. Pretty sure drivers will either ask top up from rider or they make offline deal just to compensate the expense.

Dear UBERmen, especially newbies~

Do crosscheck your trip with toll, get reimburse for any missing toll or miss calculate. Do it before statement date, suggesting Sunday. If you do it on Monday, you might not see any reimbursement on your next statement because as I know of, UBER "finalize" any reimbursement on Monday. Tolls/Trip reviews reimbursement shall be within 2-statement cycle. Be patience.

And register your TnG to get TnG statement. UBER might ask you to provide a screenshot from statement to assist multiple missing tolls from trip.
