I ask the UOB booth, need to apply 2 card only can get 1 luggage. So end up I apply online for 1 card and received the in 1 week time
*
I see...seems too much of a hassle to get their free gift. Never mind then, I think i'll apply VOX online too.

Just to confirm, I just need to click "Apply Now" and fill up my name, contact no, email and NRIC, then wait for them to contact me to get my income documents? I suppose they emailed you to obtain those?

Thanks in advance rclxms.gif

Hi all,

For those who had their cards delivered to their home address, can I ask if it required a person's sign-off to receive?

I spoke to CS earlier and she said that it was sent to my home with Poslaju, but will be delivered into my mailbox without requiring me to sign.

Based on your past experience, can you all verify this? Thanks!

yes, without sign-off for my case as well. as long as the envelope is not opened, then is fine. if seal is broken, call cs immediately.

Thank you very much for your confirmation! Will take note on the integrity of the envelope rclxms.gif

Submitted application through agent on Mon (11/4) > application received by UOB on Wed (20/4) > card approved on Tue (19/4) > received Thu (21/4). Pretty fast I must say rclxms.gif

The card design and quality is pretty good as compared to MBB, PBB, AEON etc.

was the card delivered to your home/office? or did you have to collect at the branch?
*
The cards were delivered to my billing (home) address despite having stated my preference to be delivered to my office. But they went into my mailbox so no problem with receiving then.

For those new applied cards, do u guys manage to register the online banking. I tried to sign up for credit card only but unable to process through as it said I have other UOB products which I don't have any other than the card I registered.
*
I was able do register online banking with cards only. You may need to call CS to sort it out then.

Our sifu genxgenygenz just published an article on FB regarding the UOB+AEON cashback combo. Looks like this will be viral soon!

Leads me to wonder if UOB will continue to honour cashback for POSOnline tansactions for AEON CC in the future. hmm.gif

Has anybody received their cards sent to home address by GDEX lately? I received a non-delivery note by GDEX and wondering if it's UOB.

I had a similar situation, I just paid whatever is left outstanding. Got hit with late charges, but a quick call to the CS got the late charges waived the next day.

Will that leave a record on CCRIS? If yes, must complain UOB gao gao! Very unfair to prompt payers mad.gif

Make sure you did get rob or have reasonable grounds to suspect theft, or else false reporting is a criminal offence. Not worth to risk this to save RM50 oh...

Im assuming he/she got picked pocket = robbed. dont get me wrong
*
Certainly not smile.gif Someone in my family had experienced pick-pocket incident before and with a police report, free card replacement was offered.

Since we're on this, don't know if PDRM will layan us if we lost the card ourselves. Wondering if there is basis to make a report to indemnify losses or identity fraud?

Thanks and this is really useful. Before this I called CS and they said this can only be done at the branch.

Can I just email the completed form to uobcustomerservice@uob.com.my?

Yea i saw that. Snail mail/fax/visit branch seems to be the only options available. I'm wondering if it's possible to email them instead. How did you send yours?

Anyone else has tried emailing them this form?

Btw, does 1 form request also apply to other cards that you're holding, or just the one that is stated in the form?

Hey all,

My cards were approved on 24 Apr and I'm aware that I may only receive my first statement nearer to end-May.

However, I noticed that in the UOB Online portal it is stated that my statement date is 20 Apr with due date on 10 May, even though there shouldn't be an Apr statement dated before my card approval date. Shall I pay anything before 10 May? I'm worried that because of technicality, I may be marked with a "missed payment" if I don't pay anything by the due date.

I've tried searching for answers here but can't seem to find a directly related one.

Your card only approved on 24th April, what is that for you to pay? smile.gif
Statement date was 20th April, that means only transactions happened before 20th April will need to clear by 10th May. You received your card after that, so there is nothing for you to pay. You next bill should due on 10th June for transactions happened after 20th May. biggrin.gif
*
Thanks fruitie for your reply and confirmation. smile.gif

I've got some outstanding balance on transactions done from 24 Apr till present. Going by your explanation, the 20 Apr statement date is indeed irrelevant to me since there was definitely no transactions prior to that.
