Ahhhh. The old and classics excuse: Try before you buy. So Lame!!! PERIOD!!
Ok... this is pissing me off, look, when MS pays all its staff worldwide the same friggin salary, then i'll worry about the plight of software developers, when they agree that what i am buying when i buy a game is the friggin content and not the medium its delivered in (ie a disc / tape / R2D2), they i'll worry software developers income statements, when holier than thou types with in all likelihood a room full of pirated dvds, music and software give it all up and exclusively buy original stuff, then i'll worry about the philosophical repurcussions of piracy.
I have said i buy original games. if a disc gets spoiled, does friggin MS give me a new one for the price of a disc? NO!! so they can go jump in a big friggin vat of "woe is me" for all i care as i will continue to find ways of backing shite up!
Most of this "piracy is lame" crap has started AFTER game prices dropped to very acceptable levels, and i admit they are at VERY acceptable levels. But where were your friggin principles when games were expensive??? Don't know about you but i was buying original games then too...
This was a simple technical question... i wanted technical knowledge and thankfully, i got some. If i wanted philosophical inputs, i would have asked someone at the nearest church / mosque / temple.
Sorry, but i needed a rant, i'll stop now. Thanks again to everyone for their responses.
Best regards,
Pars.
