bro, lomography is a type of photography that unpredictable.

every lomography camera has it's own characteristic... so end up, you will buy all kind of cameras...

until you try it, develop the film, you will never know the result.

This is the fun part of the lomography.

dont try to control it, just go out and shoot under bright sunny day.

For my case, I have $ in paypal so i transfer $ to her directly from paypal. Then she post to me...

If you dont have choice, you can buy from lowyat.net seller who selling RM198 only - http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/898073

sorry for noob question. thank you. smile.gif

you can use any 35mm aka 135 film, either negative or slide both works.

Then uou can ask the shop to develop the film and ask them scan to thumbdrive (CD is not environmental friendly) wink.gif

Spend sometime and go through this thread - http://www.lomographyasia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6670 you get all your answers there.

How to Post Pictures on a Forum

Go to Photobucket.com or any other photo sharing site then:

1. Register a free account with them. Don't bother entering your cell phone number if they ask for that.

2. Go back to the PhotoBucket home page and click the button that says upload.

3. Click the browse button to browse for the image on your computer then upload it.

4. Look in the lower left hand corner, a thumbnail of your image should be there with a box labled IMG. Copy this code and paste it directly into your post here on this forum.

Alternate Method

If you have a URL like this that ends with .jpg:
http://www.example.com/somepic.jpg

Then you add it to your discussion like this so it shows up as a photo:

user posted image

That's it!

With thanks to gnome! Smile

    * Go to http://imageshack.us/
    * "Browse" to the location on your PC where the image resides
    * Then click the "Host it" button
    * After the file is done uploading choose the appropriate image code from the list, "thumbnail for forums" is good
    * Left click on the code to highlight the code
    * Then right click and COPY the code.
    * Come back here and right click and PASTE the code into your next post.

Holga in normal shutter mode can only be used under bright sunny day.

All your photos are mostly indoor or evening (sunset), thats why.

imagine F8/11 with 1/100s and ISO 100, just too dark

If you want high success rate and often shoot in indoor, get a LCA+ smile.gif

why is called lomography? this is because the photo taken using camera that sell by LOMO. Those funky color digitalized photo is not lomography.

Even you use normal negative to shoot with any LOMO Camera, the outcome just like normal / standard color, it is still lomography.

Please get the understanding right.

PS: No digital lomography exists in the world. those are just lomography wanna be

Lomography, a registered trademark of Lomographische AG (Austria), is a movement that, via the Lomography Society International, promotes the use of LOMO cameras — primarily and most famously the LC-A but also cameras as unlike this as the fisheye lomography camera — and a "shoot from the hip" attitude. (Many outsiders regard it as merely a sales gimmick to drive sales of these cameras at inflated prices.) Viewed as either a modern impressionistic art movement for photography to create images of everyday life or a simple (and effective) marketing ploy, Lomography has attracted a large international following around "The10 rules"

10 Rules
  1. Take your LOMO everywhere you go.
  2. Use it anytime - day or night.
  3. Lomography is not an interference in your life, but a part of it.
  4. Shoot from the hip.
  5. Approach the objects of your lomographic desire as close as possible.
  6. Don't think.
  7. Be fast.
  8. You don't have to know beforehand what you've captured on film.
  9. You don't have to know afterwards, either.
  10. Don't worry about the rules.

The photographic results of "Lomography"

Subjects
Blue skies, brightly colored objects, pink noses of pets, young people pulling faces are common.

Focus
The original Lomo cannot focus so close, and anyway rules 6 and 7 discourage focusing. The photographs are often out of focus (especially when they are of pets' noses). This "effect" can of course be achieved with most cameras.

Degraded edges
The original Lomo has better image quality in the center than at the edges. This effect — much more pronounced with the Holga, which adds vignetting — can of course be achieved with many cheap cameras.

Lurid colors
The original Lomo is widely believed to produce vivid colors. This claim has gone unexplained, and the evidence provided for it is much less a matter of the lens (or camera) than of film processing techniques, which can of course be equally applied to film from any 35mm camera.
