Hi, Im a Photography hobbyist.
Wanted to buy a reliable tripod, but there is too much brand out there, dono how to choose.
I have a tight budget too, which is around RM350. Photo shooting is my hobby only, I feel reluctant to invest more than this amount in it.

My requirement is :
1. Stable ( Can shoot sharp image in longer exposure, above 1/30 ?)
2. Reliable ( Make sure the camera wont fall on the floor. the tripod leg height adjuster wont easily loose.)

am I too demanding with this price?

Please advice which brand or model to buy. thanks!!

At that price maybe you can try Sirui T-005X Aluminum Tripod with C-10X Ball Head. It thoroughly depends on what gear you are using.

I am using this tripod and it can support my D750 + 24-70mm lens although stability wise I think I'm pushing the tripod limit with this kind of weight.

If can spend a bit more, try going for Manfrotto Befree Aluminium (not carbon fibre as the price then is wayyy out of reach).

Hi, thanks for reply!
I am interested in Velbon DV-7000N, it is a video tripod, have fluid head with quick release.
Thinking of buying it in these few days, one thing Im worrying is that I dono is video tripod suitable for long exposure photography?
or maybe I should take the risk as an experiment? haha

Although it is slightly expensive, but the specs looks not bad. cant load up to 6kgs and has height of 162cm. Quite decent package in this price range ya? tongue.gif

Hahah.. Isn't that way out of your budget? Its listed more than double your original budget.

Long exposure photography is no problem. Just need to tighten and make sure the panning head isn't loose. I don't really like the fact that it weighs over 3kg+ which would be a pain to carry about but if you can deal with it then why not?

DGcolor sell it RM477. it's out of my budget, but I really like their fluid head.
I've been to DGcolor since friday, and saturday...They did not open, so on the third I bought a Vanguard CX204AGH instead. @ RM300
DGcolor offer a very competitive price, but their location too inconvenient for me, and they close too early... really lazy to keep going the same place but cant get what i want few more times.

My current Vanguard tripod is very firmed, just that ball head isn't my first choise. But nvm lah, still usable =D

You can try out a Beike first:

It's not a bad tripod and at a good price.
