Xiaomi Mi5 Pro only black version.

I agree with him on fingerprint button. It should be just place finger and unlock. About the built quality I tested Mi5 before and there's no rattle button. Might be just his unit.

Yeah...why not make like RN3 & Mi4s. Quallcom also supposed to have some fingerprint technology that let you scan over glass or something. Why didn't they implement that so it looks like no button.

You know why GizChina review are so honest? Because they everyday got so many random China OEM come out new phone with new feature and hardware. So hardly to WOW them if that things is not new.

gizchina got the point one these 2
1) the black boarder is too huge . must get black version
2) redmi note 3 fingerprint sensor is better

regarding on the verge review...
8.1 but that score is rescue by the performance of the phone...
but he mention design n camera is some what average and if you take out the Ecosystem and Call quality the score falls below 8.0 already...

i agree that sometime you really need to go and test the unit before buying a phone...
last Sept i bought my wife a Sony M4 Aqua... but in the end, now she is using iPhone6 now... because she is not present when i buy the sony and she only feel the phone one time and she say it should be ok... Poor sony now is in the box and waiting for new owner...
i would like to press and test out any phone before i buy... lets look look see see...
confirm the performance or quality before i swap my cash with the dealer... haha...
might end up a lot of ppl aiming for Mi5 change target to Redmi Note3 haha...

Hmm i think those who wants Mi5 won't want Note 3 in the first place (like me) cause of the size or flagship model. Perhaps end up getting Honor 7 or wait for Oneplus 3.

might be... i saw my agent One+2 also not bad... thinking on that also... Hmmm...
but i limit myself to below 1.5k and i'm considering to get below 5.5" in screen size as it is too big sometimes... maybe will play waiting game for a while now... 2nd time within 5 yrs i can hold on a phone for more than 1 yr... haha... Mi3 is my 1st and now after that HTC 820s is another... too many model is pushing out but there isnt anything to shout out between them now... after Mi3 there isnt any Mid-High range phone with Mi3 quality, spec and price at the moment...

the fingerprint sensor I really don't understand what they trying to achieve here. FUCUK when I heard that it needs to press the button to wake first only it can unlock . like ipon.

yes correct . I can compensate the fingerprint sensor easily after im use to it and the screen bezel with black version/pro version

we wan the premium quality of the whole device. not just the fingerprint sensor haha

The Verge rate Mi5's camera a step below the best, Sharpness and color accuracy are both lacking, even in well illuminated images, 7/10!

GSMarena rate Mi5's Camera photos are great, with plenty resolved detail, high dynamic range, excellent colors and contrast.

So, which is more reliable?

The verge is not a good source, imo, biased towards apple and shallow depth of information.

As to which source to trust for camera reviews, download the original files if you can and compare them. I know gsm has original files, not sure about verge.

so, is satu gadget's version the normal (3gb ram 32gb) or high spec (3gb ram 64gb) or the pro (4gb ver)? there's only 3 type right?

LOL gsm reviews pretty funny, disadvantages on negligible features.

Most probably yes...just late & not sure which version come here.

The 32gb & 64gb is normal version which come with 3gb of ram & lower clock cpu.The Pro version 128gb come with 4gb & faster clock cpu.

So if you see 32&64gb it's normal while 128gb is Pro.

actually 3gb ram 64gb and 4gb ram 128gb storage(the "pro" version) both comes with higher clocked cpu.
only 32gb storage comes with lower clocked cpu.
