I just wasap the owner "mobilesolution" seller from gemfive after send message he/she just block me from his/she wasap....the seller just read n block....scammer???!
Anybody hav deal with this seller before??? 1st time use gfive now make me worried sick....

If warranty not important to you choose import set. If warranty important to you look for seller that will settle the warranty/take malaysia set. (me personally won't buy malaysia set -too expensive).
You can't change it but you can make it run malaysian = global rom. But xiaomi malaysia won't entertain you if you send for repair even if the phone is running global rom. Check few pages back. There's a tutorial.

if u wan buy import set better u go satu gadget(1349)/directd(1399), tho it will expensive abit since no way u can discount but atleast they still will give the phone to you

for satu gadget and directd, they also have physical shop besides their online business
DirectD I not sure they are just selling import set or not,
but as I know Satu Gadget does sell local set but u need to go their shop to purchase not in their website, also their website is very cacat as u can only see white color can choose while in their shop u can buy gold and black color as well.
As for local set, u can also buy from some online seller from online as well as the authorize shop mentioned by Xiaomi Malaysia, but also Mi 5 local set only white color available
