My developer do not want to pay full LAD for late delivery of house key after OC. After complaining to Tribunal Tuntutan Pembeli Perumahan (TTPP) also cant help cos they say the new president just joined the Tribunal office and need some time to look over all the cases in sabah as he is the only one working. I paid RM50 for their service filings on the issue. yet no action can be taken. Anyone has any good experience how to tackle the issue?

Menara Hartamas SDN BHD. this case has been ongoing for 9mths already since OC issued and they dont want to pay full but 50% of the agreed amount. Seems like they been doing this to other buyers too.

you should sue for full lad together with common facilities, if any. after going through tribunal you can appoint lawyer to assist you to claim for full lad.

Then why do we pay the tribunal RM50 for? thought they should help us to fight for the LAD rights. Sometimes i find government Tribunal bit inefficient. after 9mths no action or whatsoever yet....

How much is the property price? LD calculate by, property price x 10% / 365 x number of days delay If the amount is big enough, bring them to court. Or else the tribunal is your best option already.

I heard developers will also ask tribunal to help them delay bit paying LAD to new property owners.

Maybe you can just ask a lawyer to send the developer a demand letter which only cost you a few hundreds ringgit. See what is the developer respond.

Seriusly...u just waste ur time with tribunal...i faced the same problem as u before.. if the developer dont want to pay the LAD amount to u, they just have to pay penalty to the tribunal..rm500 only..shiettt So, which one u think the developer will choose? The best way to fight is using external law firm..

I think public pressure also a good choice.
