QUOTE(horns @ Mar 25 2017, 01:18 AM) yeah; maybe few more tweaks and it should be ready. uh why disappointed? as long as these anti-everything do not take up much system resources or causing weird symptoms, they should be better than the default os combo. randomly one of the protection will turn off itself (web, exploit, malware, ransomware) the BSOD BAD_POOL_HEADER really caused by malwarebytes. https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/19829...4-beta-preview/weird i still haven't receive any update for 14393.970This post has been edited by g104: Mar 25 2017, 06:25 PM

QUOTE(horns @ Mar 26 2017, 02:47 PM) no bro by no means i wanna take over his place here. i just thought i wanna contribute by posting offline cumulative wu's that i have checked out and confirmed work at least for me. i think it's useful for those who have slower internet. this place could be better if we contribute collectively oh. now i think it's a system routine for windows updates, and they didn't remove it after that. yes i have ccleaner portable but i seldom use it. never mind & i thought the task related to the BSOD but now i'm pointing my finger on malwarebytes. cheers.

horns I stop using Spybot Anti-Beacon & switched to O&O ShutUp10 due to the leftovers on anti beacon.
Previously, my HWMonitor current value always stuck at the highest max clocks, but now working properly & other unknown small typical issues.

horns Can you check your windows update?
There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. IF you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80248014)
I clicked retry still the same & no error with sfc /scannow too.

QUOTE(horns @ Apr 25 2017, 03:01 PM) i ran wu manually and it's ok; message is, 'update status; your device is up to date. last checked: today, 2:55PM' did you block windows updates with shutup10? Nope. If I run the Control Panel > System and Security > Fix problems with Windows Update then my windows update status shown "Your device is up to date. Last checked: Yesterday, 4:16 PM but once I run the check for updates, the error pop up. This post has been edited by g104: Apr 25 2017, 03:08 PM

QUOTE(horns @ Apr 25 2017, 03:16 PM) maybe it's just a network related glitch. just finished second manual run. it's still ok. Eventually, I tried to uninstall updates of Adobe Flash Player & re-run the windows updates but it failed. Hence, I think no choice but to delete SoftwareDistribution folder & now able to install Adobe update. Yeah, now check for updates works again & I'll run sfc /scannow again in case got any issue. Thanks.

QUOTE(horns @ Apr 26 2017, 11:01 AM) maybe; that bluetooth thing is about incompatibility / system hardware driver readiness; it's good ms takes care of this. maybe it's due to some system bugs in your case. previously my issue was i couldn't disable lock screen, even with gpedit.msc (w10 pro); the latest wu above solved this. I always disable lock screen.
