normally we calculation cabinet 1ft = 2 sqft cos normally kitchen cabinet dept is 2 feet ,

according your size 5.1 ft x 2.8 ft = 14.28 sqft , how about leg do your kitchen cabinet maker cover with solid surface ?

it is a dining island table, the leg is only laminate cabinet. the table top itself as the photo below was charged 21SQFT.

For those who look for interior designer and renovation firm, pls beware of a company called M&C Gallery/M&C Concept and Design, the owner is called Melvin and Candy. They are irresponsible company that promise you a lot of things which end up nothing eventually. Only able to perform renovation with poor workmanship and keep on delaying the timeline. If you check the price with other company, their price is much more higher. The so called good quality also is just a lie.
If you are looking for interior design, make sure you don’t look for them. When you have problem and look for them to help, they will shout at you like they are doing for free. In fact, you have paid a lot of money to them.
They only will treat you good when try to trap you to sign the contact and pay them. Don’t look for them, you will regret!

mind kitchen cabinet supplier also quote me extra after this I make a complain with them they refund me Rm 1600 .
did you ask your kitchen supplier ? how they answer ?

He just simply reply me that the measurements also include the side and corner which I do not understand, and I have a lot of problems with this designer, so I need to understand more on how people charge in the market.
May I know do u complain to the supplier or any other authorities?

I got talk to my designer but he said is Standard ,after this I call his manager then solve the problem .

I found my kitchen table top with quotation not relevant after read your command . extra 5 feet .

Initially I didn’t check also, but I found my ID/contractor is very dishonest on other thing, then only I measure the table top.

Anyone can recommend a good cabinet contractor who does both plywood and aluminium?

Is plywood spray paint (door) better than laminated plywood (fomica)?Any comments?

I wish to renovate my 1,151 sqft condo at Cyberjaya. Areas which I wish to renovate are:-

1) Kitchen cabinet & island (including removing existing kitchen cabinet)
2) Wardrobe in master bedroom
3) TV wall cabinet

You can opt for solid wood in clear varnish or colour paint finish if that's what you meant.

Solid wood paint door will have better looking as laminated plywood will see some grey joint gap on door edges.

Yet for kitchen cabinet, is better to choose laminated plywood as it has better resistance to scratch and water.
