curious which material better ? recently my house facing floor tiles pumping up still thinking have to change tiles or do flooring better?
cos tiles worried few year ago pumping up again.

both material also will facing the same issue ,
SPC flooring if moisture and temperature changes like expose on sun then turn on aircone also will cause of the "waves"
not smooth

Just got my key for my new house in KL. it is a condo. For the renovation, we are having challenges. Trying to add new power socket around the house as the existing is not sufficient. about 7 power socket. we need to add additional but management office not allow us to conceal the wire, want us to use pvc casing. The condo is about RM500k per unit, and going to spend about RM 50k for renovation. it is very ugly to add additional power socket with the pvc casing. reason not allow us to do wall chasing is because all the walls in the unit is RC wall. Reinforced Concrete Wall

Want to get Sifu advise if really cannot do wall chasing/hacking the wall to extend the power socket location?

if RC then better dont hack weyh, later affect whole structure
if plaster/brick wall - then can hack to insert the trunking for wiring

you could try ADDing a plaster partition to conceal (but you will lose some room space)

I find it super hard to believe that every wall in your condo is RC wall.
Why dont you check in your drawing which is RC and which is not, then you know what you can do.

Plaster wall is rare but plaster ceiling is common (False ceiling). You can hack upwards at walls you can hack and hide the wire in the false ceiling and come don where you can hack and put in wall plugs.

now quite common in Malaysia , Singapore many year ago adopt this method
like wire aircone pipe also cannot hacking need box up on the ceiling to cover it .
you can do concept "industry"
make plaster ceiling hide the wire then using GI conduit to lay down the socket or switch





or before that design cabinet properly wire able conceal inside the cabinet also another option

It helps but also depends on your budget. At each price range, it come with different quality and suction power.

With additional appliance, there will be additional thing to clean and maintain.

one model can do hosing,another one is charcoal filter hood no need hosing
