Bros, how to check my screen is 4K screen or not?

If you still remember last time I got my Z5P screen replaced together with motherboard. Just now I installed CPU-Z to check internal info  and it seem now my screen just normal 1080P with 400 pixel density.

Is it possible the technician 'replaced' with wrong screen or I'm just be paranoid? Here is the screen shot from CPU-Z

If I remember correctly previously CPU-Z shows 806 ppi instead of just 400 ppi. Anyway detail/properties from the screen capture also show resolution is 1080 x 1920.



Is there any other way I can check the screen indeed 2160P or 4K?

Go to your home screen and do a screenshot from power menu.. All my screenshot are 8mp and in huge file size. Around 7 to 8mb per screenshot

1 month old Z5 Premium for RM1.5K only? That is dirt cheap

other manufacturers are pushing for quick charge, super charge, turbo charge, to minimize the charging time

anyway, the mean battery life span for lithium polymer is at least 2 years, by the time the battery dead, most people would have changed their phone already

By the way is the Ori Malaysia Set Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual both SIM is

SIM 1 = 2G/3G/4G
SIM 2 = 2G only

or

SIM 1 = 2G/3G/4G
SIM 2 = 2G/3G/4G

Second option.. Both also supported 2g,3g,4g.. But only 1 sim card data enabled at once only..

Anyone here experience the touch screen issue with Sony Z5?
My Z5 sometime having some problem to scroll, like browse facebook when try to scroll down it actually tap to bring up a photo or or bring up a post instead of scroll.
Any solution for this problem?

Hi guys, wta that is new z5p first charge have to leave it for 8 hours?
The salesman told me to do so, but my friend said it's not necessarily as current smart phone is smart enough to cut down the power when it's fully charged. So no point to leave it charge for 8 hours?????  At the end, I only leave it 5 hours for the first charge, will it make any different?

Now having problem in finding suitable casing... as sony casing is very limited and it's super expensive selling at sony store. So I thinking to buy it at taobao...

malaysia always slow in pushing OTA to xperia.. major update always get Xperia Companion to download update while OTA always is minor update from my past experiences..

**Got some information over Taiwan users.
1. No manual camera control as X series
2. Stamina mode like X series, 3 options to choose.
3. Performance smooth like X series.
4. Small apps remain but different ways to open the small apps.. Click menu button, and press top left button to trigger small apps..
5. Screenshot and screen recording still remain for Z5 series.
6. Can change font size and DPI.
7. Multi screen support and quick apps change by double tap on menu button.
8. The rests mostly remain like Z series.. lockscreen unlock swipe up, theme, and etc..

Z5C updating to Nougat too now.

no wonder i took nearly 2 hours to download the update.. but it worth for the update.. so far, after i updated my phone, feel smooth and i didnt plan to perform factory reset yet.. cause it might take me some time to configure everything.. so far so good..

home settings can be reached by long pressing the wallpaper when u r in home, and it should be shown as the last available option at the bottom. Is this what u were looking for?

How to know the progress?
I only see a bar on top right of Xperia Companion, without xxGB/2.5GB

Haha Yaya. Small apps as well. Then when press menu button and want to swipe off last app, but it hide at very bottom there.

Any Z5 Premium Dual (E6883) user here? Do you receive any OTA notification or can you upgrade to Nougat with the Xperia Companion?

I also asked about the Xperia Companion, did anyone received update through that software? For Z5P Dual, Coz I don't.

Sony seem like pull down all the nougat updates for z5 series. Don't know what's happening
