I have a peugeot 208 that is giving me loads of problems  and im looking to replace with something more cost friendly. The reason i am looking for a larger is due to my family (5 of us ) the largest car we have is a honda city and im looking for somethung to fit all of us without the need to squeeze tightly in a car.

When you say speeding, what speed does it normally happen at? Will the light only come out and nothing else? Or will it impact the car as in no more acceleration / problems with the drive?

i got used yellow and used TRW disc package, better than green, but noisier/more dust.

if dust is your concern, red > green > ultimax > yellow.

But for the new Inspira 1.8M (2015), what do you think of the 60% local content? The 60% local contents parts bagus tak? Quality ok or not? I don't wanna visit service center like everyday ~!!!
Also, how is the assembly quality for Inspira?

actually, wanted to get Jetta since promo RM88,888. Jetta can tapau Inspira for lunch, dinner and dim sum, anytime anywhere...
But then, think about it, engine + DSG gearbox + clutch always got issue...die lor...
might as well sapu the Inspira, RM60K = both engine + gearbox proven reliable...
Also, entry price is low - hence, can save for future maintenance wife...

my ownership quite low as 5.5K for "make over" at initial.
each year service 2 times, each cost around 200 (EO+filter)
each 2 year change CVT oil 200, brake oil, coolant, power steering oil 400

What is the maintenance cost for people like me? drive like old uncle go to wet market?

Seems like the usual one that I use is black in color (similar to the mitsu version). Or has proton came out with a cheaper option?

Need some advice on CVT oil change

a) When is the best time to change CVT oil ? Inspira manual says 60 000 km . Currently I am below 40 000km. When i go uphill, can hear CVT whining
b) Proton says no need to change until 100 000 km. True or not ? Last year, they said that their SC don't have this service ... Why ??? so weird   
c)What type of CVT oil do you recommend ? One shop told me can use Mitsubishi Motors CVT fluid J1 . S0001610 . RM 160++ for 4L. They don't change for me ... need to go to workshop to change
d)Another workshop selling Liqui Moly ATF 1400 . RM80 for one liter . Is this good or not ? How many liters do I need ? This price includes changing the CVT oil
e) What else do I need to change ? CVT filter ? CVT Cooler filter ? Gasket ? O-ring ? Anyone know how much it costs ?

Hi there, currently i use myvi 1.3manual, thinking to change to inspira 1.8M since there is a big discout for 2015 model which is RM15500.. It is a good decision? Please help me..

roughly how much u guys spent a year for maintenance? I'm budgeting the cost of ownership to be RM800 per month inclusive of RM700 loan repayment.

mine MT exec spec leh and ya RM100 per month excluding insurance roadtax.
